He took a sabbatical (to use the term loosely) a year or two ago, after another occurrence similar to this led to him being disgusted with the board. He and I corresponded through email for awhile before he came back. I'm sure he (like many of us) gets tired of the drama that occurs here, but unlike many of us, he's actually willing to leave when he says he will.
