The EE is ineed awesome. I watched it today as well and I LOVE the additions!!
anybody else seriously disapointed....
hell i was near disgusted, espeically the mouth of sauron part....that was......hideious...cheezy zooming in and stuff...
and the houses of healing...shit i was really looking forward to that and i was soooooo dam disapointed...it was like a daft music video
only bit i liked was saruman...the rest was pityfull

oh and i got mine on the 8th....for some reason.... go figure
I liked the Saruman/Grima scene and the added scenes with the cursed soldiers. I also enjoyed the drinking game between Legolas and Gimli.
I was disappointed with both the Saruman scene and the Mouth of Sauron and I'll tell you why:
1) The scene where Saruman died seemed very anti-climatic, I was expecting to see his Aura come out of his body and disperse into the wind like they had it in the book. At least I think they had something like that in the book.
2) I was also expecting to see a big fight scene between Aragorn and the mouth of Sauron but it never happened!
3) I also wanted to see more of the houses of healing.
All in all I was very disappointed.

i loved the others too...but this time it just felt pointless....i was desperate for them to change the black gate sequence cause i hated how fast everything was dealth with there....one shot there in minas tirith and then the next shot there outside the gate......considering how much time they spent over the pelenor fight you think they could of done something a little better with this fight
still get it tho fella....extra features are fantastic....you even see the orginal footage of aragorn fighting sauron at the end of the movie at the black gate, which for the final version was changed into the troll....never knew that and never suspected it when watching for the first time

i think in the book his blood just poisons the ground...but im with you on everything else you said.....espeically houses of healing....that was pathetic in the movie
same here so im not totally sure...but thats one part (about the blood) that really stands out for me......for some reason.....???????????
dude jesus...movie may suck...... BUT!, dunno if you have watched the appencies on the other movies (if not watch them now!!!!!!!!) if you have though you will love the 3&4 disks on this lot....very emotional stuff, best dvd special features ive ever watched, and its worth the price tag just for that!
