December 14th is when Return of the king was released in the theaters.I think its a good nod to us fans who are wishing there will be another movie released this year as the last 3 have been released year by year.

After seeing this preview all I can think is, "Why the hell did I waste my money on the DVD that came out a few months back?" 50 extra min? Incredible. And if anybody's doesn't know it yet, the "special features" on the other DVD are extremely poor.

Unfortunately, that's a bogus rumor. They MIGHT get started negotiating for the rights by then. Right now, over a dozen people claim to own the rights to "The Hobbit." For that reason, the matter is now in the court system.
Jackson already inquired about the rights and that's when the can of worms opened up.

First thing's first. They have to sort out right ownership first, then they can begin negotiating to get the rights to make the film. It will take a while.

You are welcome! You didn't waste your $$ really, sell it to someone else. I did. I just sold mine for $10.50 on eBay. So, adding it up, I spent $5.37 on it to rent it for 7 months. Not a bad deal.

Im gonna get the collectors gift set,i wanna check out the other dvd with Howard shore and the Lord of the rings symphony.I went to the symphony when it came here to L.A. it was a powerfull experience very moving, kinda like the first time when you watch "The Passion".
