Limbaugh released; no heart trouble found

Limbaugh spoke at a Honolulu news conference shortly before being released from The Queen's Medical Center, where he was rushed Wednesday during a vacation. Doctors said he did not have a heart attack or heart disease.

"The pain was real, and they don't know what caused it," Limbaugh said.
Asked whether he was taking painkillers, Limbaugh said no.

How come I have this picture in my head of Obama with a Rush voodoo doll and a evil laugh just jabbing away at VooDoo Rush.

And I BET SOMEHOW THE LIBERALS AND DEMOCRATS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ILLNESS!

Because he is from Kenya. :hatsoff:

Last I checked VooDoo was from the West Indies by way of West Africa. Kenya is located on the Eastern part of Africa. So try again Slick Will E.:thefinger

All jokes aside, I know Limbaugh had a problem with prescription painkillers, but has there ever been anything said about him using coke? Not saying that's what caused this, but if he was using drugs, that's not something that his doctor would/could comment on publicly.

Voodoo originated in the African kingdoms of Fon and Kongo as many as 6,000 years ago. The word "voodoo" comes from the Fon language, in which it means "sacred," "spirit" or "deity." Other words used in Voodoo today also come from the Fon and Kongo languages. For example, a Voodoo priestess is often referred to as a mambo or manbo. This is a combination of the Fon word for "mother" or "magical charm" and the Kongo word for "healer."

Yes his drug addiction is well documented. But like a lot of people, prescription painkillers become a way of life, especially if one is dealing with tremendous discomfort. Ask Brett Favre.

I don't think it is speculated that Brett is "coked up" because he had a problem in the past. It's because it's Limbaugh.

Jesus.

The Fon kingdom was located in what is now southern Benin, a region some anthropologists refer to as the "cradle of Voodoo." People also practice Voodoo in Togo, Ghana and other countries in northwestern Africa

I am sorry but here is a map so you know where Kenya is actualy located at

So how can somone, whos father was from Kenya, practice voodoo?

The Republic of Kenya is a country in East Africa

Has Brett Favre been admitted to the hospital lately with severe chest pains from an unknown cause?

I'm not speculating that he was using cocaine or anything else. I'm asking if anyone knows if that was in his past. For all I know, his heart seized up because he tried to eat a 100 lb. roasted pig all by himself, while a 300 lb. Hawaiian woman was sitting on his face. :1orglaugh

Seriously though, he's an older fat guy, who used to smoke cigarettes. That might have something to do with it too. I don't know - so I ask questions. :dunno:

Just didn't know where the chest pains could = cocaine use came from.

But hey! He could be snorting an 8 ball a day. Who knows?

Maybe, but really if your in his condition and his age and your having chest pains, better get your ass to a Dr and fast. He will be 60 on the 12th of Jan. could have been a mild heart attack.

In his press conference he said that the doctors couldn't find anything physically wrong with his heart. And even though I was a lot younger (and probably a lot healthier) than Limbaugh, before taking a stress test years ago, one of the standard questions was whether or not I used drugs (illicit or prescription). As Len Bias and others have found out, coke can blow your heart out.

Plus, Rush has a prior history of addiction to mood altering drugs. So I don't see this being the same as asking if Mother Teresa ever shot heroin.

More voodoo shittalk.

You're actually both wrong.. Voodoo is a badass doughnut shop in Portland, Oregon.

When Rush dies, or is at least allowed to buy an NFL team without everyone getting their panties in a bunch, then something about him might be considered newsworthy, until then let him continue to be a comedian - intentional or not - for a few hours out of our day.
