Pussy

Trump is an immature, egomaniacal, spoil-brat!
Like a petulant child on a playground, when he doesn't get his way, he effectively "takes his ball" and goes home!

Of the Republican candidates currently seeking the nomination, my choice would be, in order:

1) Cruz
2) Carson

3) Trump

I like a lot of the things Trump has to say, but I do question where his true loyalties lie. He reminds me a little of Jesse Ventura when he was running for Governor of Minnesota. Jesse talked a good game, sounding like a good conservative, but when he was elected, he allied himself with a lot of left leaning politicians, and ultimately became, at best, a centrist. I could see Trump doing the same thing.

Cruz and Carson both seem a lot more grounded in their ideology than Trump does. With them, what you see is probably a lot closer to what you will get. Trump is far too much of an unknown for me to be comfortable with him running our country.

I also think it is better having someone whose leadership style is not based so much on insulting and trying to tear down the opposition. I think it would be a lot better to get someone like the great Ronald Reagan, who could influence people with humor and charisma instead. I know there aren't any Ronald Reagans in this race, unfortunately.

Ultimately, I'd prefer not to have Trump as the candidate, but even so, he would be a whole lot better than what we would get with Hillary or the other socialist.

As an American I love diversity of ideas I believe it's one out best attributes as a nation.
Having said that I cannot see ANY positives in the Ted Cruz corner. All I see is a phoney, unlikeable, stuffed shirt a person whom I wouldn't want as a middle manager in my local grocery store let alone the leader of my country.
He is the professional politician type the Teaparty rails against and yet he is one of their own???
Does it come down to some on the right are so bitter about 8 years of Obama that they want to stick America with the biggest douche bag on the planet as their collective revenge??? So confusing....

I, too, am of the opinion that Cruz is 100% phony baloney.

Yeah, yeah, doctrinaire conservative, but Cruz just gives me the creeps.

Jeb Bush doesn't give me the creeps. He doesn't send a thrill up my leg like Chris Matthews gets, he's "low energy" but solid and steady like the proverbial tortoise.

He was an effective governor of the country's largest swing state but his last name happens to be Bush, which if that's his biggest downside, then there really isn't a downside.

Jeb! 2016

Ugh. Another Bush/Clinton?!? Say it ain't so, Joe. Cruz is fake, the consummate politician. And creepy.

Shoot maybe I should throw my hat in the ring :dunno:
I would welcome having Megyn Kelly talk down to me with a coy, cunning smirk on her face while forcing me to wear a studded collar and eat from a doggy dish question me.

It is now clear that Donald Trump is a serious contender for the office of President of the United States.
What’s the likelihood that Mr. Trump gets your vote?
0%.

If he's the nominee? 100%
And so the corruption continues.

Neither Trump nor Clinton will get my vote.

A republican over a fucking rotten democrap socialist swine and hateful bitch, my vote goes to trump because of this:

You still can't vote in the US, right? It will be a dark day indeed when you can.

If my choices are Hillary and Trump, I'll be sitting this one out.
There is not a chance in hell that I'll vote of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton for that matter. If it comes down to a Trump/Clinton battle for the White House, I will write in Donald Duck just like I did in the 2014 Gubernatorial election.
I'm sitting this election out as I also refuse to vote for Trump.
This is a waste, guys. Find someone who you can support and vote for them. If they aren't in the two parties, all the better. A third party candidate isn't going to win as we all know, but it isn't necessarily a zero-sum game: that vote is a message to the main two parties as well as helping push a third-party candidate past certain thresholds that make it easier for the next time around (such as for public financing, getting on the ballot, etc).

Not voting is as good to the Republican and Democratic parties as saying their options are okay with you. Are they?

I like some of what Rand Paul has to say feeling he is the true patriot seeming to put America first out of all the GOP candidates but he's pretty much finished.
I'd vote Paul if he was up against Clinton.

If it comes down to Trump vs Clinton, this country is fucked!
People say this every election, but the reality is these choices will simply continue the relatively slow but steady decline of the country. Slow enough that, you know, people still don't vote in their own best interests (or at all).

Starting to believe your a drama queen
This country has done nothing but improve in every way the last 7 years.
Breath deeply and you may calm down.
Saying this is a little disingenious though, to be fair; it's like when Ted Cruz says there's been no significant warming in the last 15 years, conveniently picking that number because it points to a record year in temperature that allows him to ignore the very plain overall trend. The country may have improved in the last 7 years versus the 8 before that, but that has more to do with those 8 years than the last 7.

Just don't vote for Cruz.
That is one plastic ass clown and we are still recovering from the last ass clown.
George W Bush king of the ass clowns. If you voted for him before don't expand your stupidity by voting for his court jester.

I think Cruz is the scariest candidate currently running. I feel like by and large most of the candidates will simply continue the status quo course, but Cruz? Potential George W-scale damage to our country.

On the other hand, I sort of want him to win the nomination so that the country really has the choice to reject his brand.

...or embrace it ('embrace' might be a strong word, considering most presidents are elected with around 30% of the eligible vote). It'd be very telling either way.

I'll vote for whoever makes it through the three ring circus that is the nomination process but I won't like voting for Trump. I'd do it just to keep the old pervert or Caligula's Horse out of the white house.

Trump will be at the debate. They'll cut a deal at the last minute. Fox News needs Trump more than Trump needs Fox News

Don't you get tired of being wrong so often?

Saw a Rachel Maddow Show segment lately. In spite of all the stories about so many Republicas in House and Senate being absolutely horrified of a Trump candidacy or let alone presidency...

Only nine in total have proclaimed they are openly against him.

They all seem to fall in line.

Anyone change their mind since taking this poll, about whether they plan to vote for Donald Trump or not?

Not I.
Worst case scenario for me was Trump/Clinton and having to hold my nose and vote for Clinton, but so be it. There's simply no way I can vote for Trump.

Still just as likely, as in 100%.

However, my opinion of the republican party which was lukewarm to begin with has gone down to the point of borderline hatred.

These guys haven't learned the lesson of an Eric Cantor. You heel to us and not vice versa.

Trump is the very definition of a panderer. His message changes depending on the room he's in. He'll tell you whatever you want to hear. It's not correct to call him a flip flopper because he doesn't change positions as much as he takes all positions at once. Which then leads me to my biggest concern about him: he's volatile and unpredictable. Both of which you don't want in a president. Not only do our allies not want volatility in POTUS, but the stock market doesn't want it as well
