According to the Doomsday clock, we've only got 6 minutes left.

That's actually a great bit of time. In 1983/84 it was less than two minutes.



After humanity it'll be the insects turn to dominate.

If it makes people feel any better the graph is definitely trending downward in the amount of groups of living things that go extinct each time. The extinction event that caused the dinosaurs to die looks like a outlier where it's at. The next one, if it happens from a non human caused source probably won't wipe people out. I still not sure if there is a mechanism that makes it happens in regular intervals. That might be reading too much into it, and even if there is can can't really use that to predict the next one with a high measure of accuracy.

This is irrelevant. It doesn't take certain variables like into account (i.e. zombie viruses, nuclear war).
