Never had elk...sounds exotic

I expected it to taste like venison, but it was different from any meat I've ever tasted. Really good though - just a tad heavy on the pepper and seasoning. I'm sure what we had was farm raised elk, but I'd trade some wild boar ham that I still have for a piece of wild elk if I can find some.

beef for me since its hard to beat a good steak or roast beef with yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, veg and gravy but then bacon is amazing
