How many of you are just "kind hearted" OR that one step futher and are really a "soft touch" ie How many lend "large sums" with the promise of not just repayment but speedy repayment only to be srewed BAD

Case in Point from a Friend {Dont read if you dont like negative stories}: He used to let everybody "borrow" on regular - anyway - back in High School he let him have his $156 baseball card because he said he wanted it badly and basically pleaded to him at least 200 times. Well guess what now he’s really become the MARK - next day is field trip time to the Getty Museum and here comes BrokeMike again with his innocent face pleading for another $500 with a story (which later proves to be true) that his girl (at the time) wanted one of those expensive globes and he was sure to hit it that night if he bought her something nice … once again hits up my pal for another with the usual promise of repayal.
OK by now (and I usually don’t fuck with others business) I walk over to my peep and say dude you need to stop being a fucking tool like fucking now man. Next time he’s around ask him for something … but not today because if he gives you anything today it’ll be like simply giving you a piece of your $500 back.
Next day we’re at the arcade ‘cross the HS and asks Mikey to spot him a single dollar so we can both play the arcade SFTS (since it’s .50 for one play AND this is after we know he’s got a stack because we saw him open his wallet to buy a capuccinno for his girl that morning) Well guess what he says No dont have it – and not the kind of friendly no but like get away Im about to get laid again so I don’t want my girl around you two loosers.
Without my friend he went broke within a month and his “girl” ditched him. :rofl:
