I don't mind raking them off the pavement but plucking them out of the flowerbed is a real pain. Like a Hockey player trying to wrist-shot them out with my rake. Unfortunately for the flowers I'm from California.
That is interesting I had always used leaves instead of leafs, but per a google search they are both correct. Leaves is listed as the plural here http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/leaf but it also lists leafs. I always had difficulty in English classes, so you may be correct
No no no, you said it right, I was just using it as a clever opportunity to take a shot at my favorite hockey team's divisional "rivals", the Toronto Maple Leafs. They suck and I hate them.
And I feel bad for those of you who have to bag your leaves. I just take mine all toward the back hard, where there's a big hill at the edge of the woods. The whole neighborhood just dumps all their compost over the hill.
