I've never really been into knives too much. I used to see these super expensive knives in catalogs and I just didn't get it. It seemed like a waste of money in every way. Then a few months ago, I saw a Spyderco Tenacious on sale at my local *** shop and picked it up. I fucking loved it and started researching all the high end steels and whatnot.
For Christmas I got a Spyderco Endura 4 (VG10) and a Spyderco Sharpmaker. I ran my Ka-Bar USMC through the Sharpmaker and now it shaves hair. I've used the Endura 4 for everything from opening packages to cuttin g onions, peppers and prepping chicken. The blade will not dull. Unfortunately, it seems I found myself with a new hobby. An expensive new hobby.
Is there anybody here who collects or just digs knives?
