I remember when Jake Plummer was playing and they called him Jake The Snake. I'd always say "There's only one Snake in the NFL and his name is Kenny Stabler!!!"

This is truly sad news. The Snake was one of a kind....a serious throwback and rebel, maybe the greatest clutch QB that ever played (if not, sure seemed that way). I never was a Raider fan but I was always a Ken Stabler fan. Another icon of my younger days is gone. Cancer sucks. R.I.P. Snake.
