Wow, no one is defending Kanye. That's refreshing. On a list of "people I wouldn't care about even if they were abducted and exposed to all sorts of horrific scientific experiments for the remainder of their pathetic life", he's at the top. He's just an ass with average talent who's famous for hating white people and announcing that George Bush hates black people. I did like the fact that Beyonce had Taylor come back out to finish her speech. That was a very class act.

yeah, he's certainly worked with a bunch of whities, worked for them, dated them (dating them, you're right), and co-covered labels and events with them.

i don't think this was a race thing. it might be a genre thing - country music is a tough sell in many communities (though perhaps that's race related, too).
