First, how is KFC going to drop the whole fried McNasty image it has? It wont. Send it down to bankruptcy and spare us the details.
I dunno, McDonalds fixed it's image quite well. In England at least, don't know about America.

Guys maybe you ought to try the fried chicken your local supermarket deli makes if you don't like KFC's so much. I know you all would like Our Publix's fried chicken:
Is it similar to that Rotisserie Gold they had a few years back?
I remember when they had barbecue chicken. It tasted like break fluid.
Ever tried Pollo Loco?

Ordered a two piece, breast & wing, for lunch. It was okay. Had a different smell. Sort of smelled like a tuna melt, which was a little unappetizing for me.
Taste was a bit bland. I was a bit surprised because I expected they would really bombard the chicken with seasoning, especially salt, to make it more flavorful but I guess they were really trying to make a healthier product. I also wish they would crisp up the skin more.
Honestly it wasn't better than the grilled chickens I get at Latin joints, and it was about the same as chicken I prepare at home, and I'm not much of a cook. I don't see myself getting it again.
KFC doesn't stand for Kentucky Fried Chicken, it stands for Kentucky Fried Critter, so there is no false advertising in their name.
I much prefer Popeye's Chicken. :yummie:
That's a little disappointing. What was the texture like? Properly cooked?
This is actually good food. I love El Pollo Loco. You can "see" them grilling the chicken. There isn't a whole lot of "mystery" in the making of their food. Plus, their salsa bar is FUCKING YUMMO. No salsa packet bullshit for them....
I also love El Pollo Loco, but I wonder, is it even healthier?
No I don't think so because I'm not a big fast food guy, and I'm definitely not a KFC fan. I have KFC about once or twice a year tops.
