It's so windy

Police have told people in Scotland not to travel, as severe winds of up to 165mph are battering the country, leaving thousands without power.

As the Met Office issued its highest warning, a red alert, hundreds of schools have shut and bridge and road closures are causing disruption

It's meant to be 90mph winds

Tbh it's not that bad, it's been quite windy but i can't see it being 90mph/ Everyone has been warned not to leave the house. It's really noisy but i don't think it deserves the once in a lifetime slogan

Still might get worse though i suppose. There have been afew trees over and afew cars crushed and over turned but that is about the height of it so far

I hope there is a ban on the kilt wearing until this passes.

Is somewhere outhere.
It was only 60mph in the Lothians,so it wasn't as bad.I think the worst I ever
saw was 5-6 years ago, when the winds were 90mph+ and the bus shelter blew down my
high street.

My neighbors trampoline blew into their neighbours garden and took the wooden fence
with it too. They will be well chuffed in the morning :1orglaugh

Today in Canada it was -10 outside. The wind chill made it -35.

And just a few weeks ago 150 km/h winds shut down downtown Calgary because the windows of the skyscrapers were shattering. It also did this:
