I mean, isnt it obvious? They keep saying how Obama is constantly beating this guy, so it wont make sense if he doesnt win, right?

Do we really need another election thread? This is just ridiculous.

I can only imagine how some of those outside the US must feel.

Hey it is a very hot topic and Im pretty sure every forum im a America is experiencing this
Freeones isn´t an American forum, it´s an international forum that´s based in The Netherlands so if it´s any nationality it´s a Dutch forum.

It wouldn't be an issue if we only allowed campaigns to run about 6 months in this country instead of the 2 years like we do. Just like most of the world that practices democracy.

I would agree that! It´s very funny to watch all this ballyhoo in the US and to watch, how millions and millions of dollars are thrown down the drain.
Even a fellow student, who comes from the US couldn´t explain me the exactly US-voting-system and I am very happy that on 4./5.11. it comes to an end. I'm curious about the final results.
I think most of the Germans prefered Hillary Clinton, but now had to change their opinion onto Obama. Most of the Germans think it is time to end the regency of this wannabe "world-sheriff" Bush.

If our campaigns were only 6 months long, every candidate would become Sarah Palin-like, in the sense that nobody would know who the fuck they were. We live in a country full of very, very stupid people who really, really need that full 2 years to even realize that there's an election coming up.

At this point I could give a rat's ass less who wins. I was gonna vote for George Carlin, but my candidate died mid-campaign, so I have to go with someone else. The problem is that I wouldn't like to see either of those guys in the White House for 4 years. Regardless of who wins we'll have a politician in office who could give 2/3 of a rat's ass less about the people, but cares greatly about his career. One thing I've realized is that, as much of a conservative Republican as I am, the Republicans are just as fucked up and full of shit as the Democrats. Politicians wouldn't give the slightest fuck about the people if they didn't stand to gain anything from them. Seriously, this is what I think of the election: :thefinger

Which is why, in a weird way, I won't be surprised if he doesn't, but I hope to hell he does.

Four years of Palin in the White House? I'd rather pull every pube out one by one and then light my sack on fire while shaving my penis with a samurai sword.
