The UK, and Scotland in particular are on the whole tolerant and welcoming of multiculturalism. We live on a small island, so every one of us will have historic roots to the mainland or else we would be here in the first place. It is the small, narrow minded few that make a lot of noise about this supposed 'wave of Islam' that is going to take over the world, without actually realising that this is what has happened all over the world for centuries.

Do you think that Christianity has always been the dominant religion in the world? Where are all the people who pray to Zeus, Odin and Horus now? Things change. Deal with it.
