I do not eat "Chinese food". I don't mind the taste at all the first time. It's that second time I have a problem with. I always tried different dishes, but after the 4th or 5th time having the same results I just decided not to risk it.
I'm kind of a picky eater, so there are a lot of foods I don't care for.
Off the top of my head, the one food I hate the most is tomatoes.
Now, the odd thing is I'm fine with ketchup, tomato sauce, and a lot of other things made from tomatoes. But if you sat me down with a raw tomato and asked me to eat it, if I took even one bite....ukey:
Dude, try cherry tomatoes. They are so different from regular tomtoes it's quite amazing. They are so sweet you don't even need to do anything to them. Texture also varries from the big variety.
Eggs, spinach, but nothing comes close to what we in Sweden call "surströmming" (i don´t know if there´s an english word for it, but it´s a sort of fermented fish).
Brussels Sprouts, Rhubarb, Persimmons, Yams, Tongue, Bamboo Shoots, Sardines, Mutton, Sauerkraut, Rye Bread, sweet pickles, pickled pig feet, mountain oysters, raw fish of any kind, tuna casserole and anything that Bear Grylls or "Survivorman" might consume while on the trail.... yeah :uohs:
okra
capers
collard greens
artichokes
asparagus
The Filipino foods that my former roommate used to eat. Balut, for example, is a half-cooked chicken embryo. Bag'un is this nasty, foul-smelling pickled fermented raw fish that stinks up a 5-mile radius where a jar of it is opened. ukey:
