Is "Forrest Gump" as good as "Pulp Fiction"?

I like Tarentino flicks, but I really don't see what all the fuss over Pulp Fiction is about. Travolta sucks (in everything), but he's balanced out by Jackson, who's awesome (in most everything).

Forrest Gump on the other hand is an awesome movie, and I can't find any reason why any (reasonable) person wouldn't like Tom Hanks.

That would be like asking if The Shawshank Redemption was as good as Fried Green Tomatoes. Both are excellent movies. Just as Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction are.

I'd watch that movie.
