I never wish anyone dead, but Egg McMuffins? Is that really a notable achievement? Famous for taking a good food product (the egg) and destroying it? Long eggs? No thank you!

Sorry he's dead. But the Egg McMuffin is a very fattening, high sodium breakfast food that has done nothing positive for the health of those who ate it.
What a crappy legacy.

^ But it tastes good.

You're still going to die no matter what you eat.

(I eat crap all day and the doc says I'm perfectly healthy)

It's an achievement when you can come up with a simple idea and market that idea to make serious $$$. Just like the inventor of the paper clip.

RIP Mr. Herb Peterson

I can't believe the bashing of this guy. It is someone's choice whether they want to eat an Egg McMuffin or not. I never have for instance. To my knowledge it contains no addictive chemicals. I don't necessarily think the Egg McMuffin is a big achievement, but for those who love them, I suppose it is. :dunno:

I am not bashing him; just his invention. Though squallumz makes a good point; it might have been better when he invented it then it is now.
So maybe I should cut the guy a little slack.

actually mate, its full of addictive chemicals, though, i doubt, it did at first.

With all due respect (you know I think you're great squally), I think I'll ask for proof of that.

^ Yup.

The egg is real egg. The sausage is pure pork, along with the bacon. Unless those addictive chemicals are put in the flour they used to make the muffin?
