I'm not saying McDonalds is good for you, I just don't think it deserves the bashing it recieves from the internet community. And it mainly is that, "the internet community".

I probably have more proof into what goes into their food than anyone else as I used to be a manager at McDonalds. There is a major hate project against them, even though they turned themselves around about 5 or so years ago. Most of the stuff you read on the net against mcdonalds is more bullshit brought up to try to bring the company down.
But that will never happen, because it's far too powerful.

in other news, the creator of the baby seal mcmuffin is doing just fine. next year he plans on opening up shop in Antarctica and unveiling the puffin mcmuffin.

The Egg McMuffin is the only decent thing on the mcdonalds menu, I bet they would make a killer off Egg McMuffins if they were to sell it all day, but they dont

oh, you're exactly right, they are way too powerful and people will never stop eating there as long as time goes on. funny thing too, i know about 5 people who used to manage a mcdonalds too. heh.

again, i do not go by internet articles, i actually do a TON of research about food via books, the actual FDA websites (btw they post the laboratory animal results on there, warning: very disgusting and horrific and extremely sad.)

i do by ingredient names and chemistry research. i challenge everyone here to go to their cupboards and pull out a couple of cans of food. i started with a can of chilli. type in or look up those ingredients and see what comes up. doing this is what caused a dramatic change in my lifestyle, and i could never, ever go back. im on my 6th year or so i believe on organic food and i cant remember the last time i got sick. and no, i do not take any pills or vitamins, or medicine or supplements.

duh, mcdonalds isnt good for you, neither is any fast food, im just asking that people know whats really in their food. seriously look some of these things up, and dont rely on just 1 opinion, look it up with several references, im very picky about this.

with this and the fact that additives and preservatives have only been introduced in the last 50 years, and if u look at when all these health problems began (including cancer, diabetes (corn syrup!!!), and all the other popular ones, (heart related, etc)) the proof is in the pudding. no disrespect to the guy who kicked the bucket, like i said, i doubt it was fucked up like it is now so it really isnt his fault, just be aware of what you're consuming! the whole reason im taking the time out to argue this is because its very important to me and ive done years worth of research on the subject, and not by just "googling" it.

what has changed in the last 50 years? the food. that is the variable here.

Yeah it was probably one of the best jobs I've had.

Manager at a branch of a multibillion pound corporation... And I was only 18 at the time. Not bad for a McJob ;)
