I work at a dialysis clinic. The majority of patients got the flu shot in October and I notice most of them got the sniffles after Christmas. No harm, no foul. The ones that didn't get the flu shot got the flu and ended up in the hospital. Two of those patients got pneumonia.. one died. I recommend the flu shot. If you're one of those that says, "I don't need it cause it doesn't work" and survived the flu season, you're not smart.. you just lucked out.
