I'll allow Sam to respond to this before I pass judgement

This would be nothing but good. I have a very good friend who holds many of your stated views in common. He and I have terrific discussions. As I believe I have stated before, you are, of course, welcome to hold whatever opinions you hold. Stating your opinions in a way that is not caustic and hateful will produce good fruit. There are many people here I respect not because they think the same things I do, but because they are willing to engage in a conversation about our differences of opinions, accept that we aren't here to proselytize, and then enjoy the debate because we all learn something.

Who'da thunk such shenanigans could happen on a porn forum?

Sam has proved beyond doubt that he is not interested in conversation. He's unwilling to admit when he is wrong. He absolutely will not own up to his errors, even when presented conclusively and, I think, politely. This is the definition of a troll, people. Trolls feed on people responding to the asinine posts they make. There's a simple way to starve a troll.

1. Yeah, I was wrong on my assumption that Romney would win by a landslide.

2. BobJustBob, I owe you $20. I never welch on a bet. How would you like me to send it to you?

Thank you for that. I hope this is the beginning of a new, discussion oriented Sam.

:hatsoff:

Somewhere down the road when we run into eachother we can settle up. Till then you can keep a running tab.

Another common troll tactic, the masked white flag.
The false white flag is presented as a truce - the troll promises to change, to better his or her ways, to become a more respected member of the community. The act includes buddying up with enemies, of partaking in the fun threads and even poking fun at himself for a short while. I have seen this tactic used quite a few times - and have seen it used many times after the false emergency. So, the timing is quite predictable.
Of course, only a few will fall for this tactic. Yes, some members will PLAY the friend to the troll for a short while, but most are too intelligent themselves to be fooled.
Once the troll begins going back to his old trollish ways, once other members begin to again go on the attack, the troll will look upon his false friends for "protection". "But, I am your friend. Remember all the good times we had?" (a good example of this is again his meltdown with the true meaning of the "Cool story, bro" comment by Andronicus - Sam thought he had an friend, someone he could manipulate to help him, and once the truth was revealed to him, explosion). Of course, in the end, he will find that the only friends he had were the ones he had before, no new.
This will be quite fascinating to watch. I predict the implosion will take place the same week of Christmas. Just a hunch.

Bob is our odds maker. So I'd like to see what he thinks the over/under is on how long it will be before Fisher reverts to his old (true) self. I'm guessing about 6 days. So an over/under of 5 days? Course, 5-6 days might be overly optimistic.

Bob, what say you?

While you continue to giggle, I've reported you and FREEONES for harrassment, extortion, and threats towards me, to my lawyers and they have all agreed that you have acted maliciously with intent to harm not only me, but more importantly my family as well. they will be contacting the regional office of Homeland Security (yeah, they get involved in internet threats)... including the local police (again), as well as Facebook. Look up the definition of maliciously and BLACKMAIL

Blackmail is a crime that involves a threat with an intention to compel a person to do an act against his/her will or to take a person’s money or property. In blackmail, a threat may or may not consist of physical injury to a threatened person or to someone loved by that person. Sometimes a threat may be to injure a person’s reputation. In some cases, the threat would be to expose an illegal act previously committed by the victim if the victim fails to submit to a demand. Punishment for blackmail can include a fine, imprisonment, or both.

Generally, blackmail is synonymous with extortion. Some states distinguish blackmail from extortion by demanding that blackmail must be in writing in order to make it punishable. The terms extortion and blackmail are sometimes said to involve different behaviors. Accordingly, extortion refers to a threat made by a public official, while blackmail refers to a threat to collect money illegally. Both offenses are very similar, the only difference being that extortion involves an underlying independent criminal act, while blackmail does not.

Malicioucly is a threat which involves an act of coercion. It is an expression of an intention to inflict an evil or injury on another person[/B]. A threat will bring out a negative response. It is a crime in many jurisdictions. A threat is also defined as a menace that keeps the mind of a person upon whom a threat operates unsettled.

Generally, a threat is one of the elements of extortion or blackmail. In order to punish an offense of extortion, the prosecution must show that the motive of the threat was to obtain money, property, or some other thing of value. But under some statutes, the threat is considered as an independent offense. Thus a threat without any motive is also punishable.

I've copied every threat you have made concerning me and my daughter (and most recently, your threats of contacting my ex-wife), and my attorney is in possesion of them.

Sleep well.

Ah shit! I almost missed this gem of a meltdown!

Well, looks like all you fuckers are in trouble now. Ol' Slammin' Sammy has Perry Mason on the case! And he said lawyers, not just one, but could be three or four... six or seven... hell, I bet he's got an army of 'em! Oh man, you fuckers sure are in trouble now. :nono: He's called his legal eagles in and explained to them how he's being victimized on a porn board. Yeah. Uh huh. He actually took the time to type that bullshit out. He did! Look up there... for all to see. :rofl2:

The Harley ridin' internet tough guy, who's been in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, who has dozens of guns and practices his quick draw 300 times a day... has pussied out by saying that he's contacted a lawyer and Homeland Security over what somebody said to him on a porn board. That, my friends, is pure internet gold!!!

Let's wait and see, shall we? Should he revert to his old ways, the troll label will be even more solidly proved, and most, if not all, of the membership here will revert to ignoring him. Should he genuinely change his posting habits, we gain discussion from someone with a differing point of view.

It's a win-win.

An interesting proposition. One that I am willing to take on. Many things to consider. Sam has been in the hospital recently. This can effect anyone in a number of ways. Reality sets in. A reflection of one's past. Medication. Consider his age too. Although not an old man he knows he is on the down side of life. All of these things can either soften you or make you more hardened.

Let's give him a month.

Creating 20 political threads: 1-30.
Not posting onto any thread in a 96 hour stretch. 12-1.
Admitting that someone that challenges his views MAY be right: 1-20.
Agreeing with any Liberal's singe point of view: 3-5.
Calling any poster stupid, idiot, or asshole:1-50
Getting a ban: 12-1.
Having an OCSM lash out on him: 1-3.
Using 70 words in 2 posts on the political board: Even.
Not making any post in a 30 day period. 15-1.

I think these odds are pretty fair. I offer Sam the opportunity to back me on his side with these bets. Just like Ben Bailey says on Cash Cab, "You in?"

Whoa... "reverts"? Lets see if he makes good on his implications of changing in the first place. Simply saying he's changed once doesn't cut it by a long shot, especially for a knob of his caliber (pun intended).

Apparently, the message you sent me a few months back was not as sincere as you made it sound. I thought we buried our political and personal differences. At least I know I have. You, not so much.
