Why do you think ***** should be legalised? You don't really provide a reason.
And your assumption that "...it's none of my business..." I don't agree with. Hardcore **** users will rob or ****** you in a heartbeat if it meant they could get their next fix. Should people be allowed to ****** each other too? Because what if they have a good reason to do so, that's also none of our business too. In the U.K. **** dealers have been known to sell ***** to **** at primary schools (school for ******** 5-10), I guess if we legalised ***** they could serve it when they get their lunches.
Happy's post below is pretty much my reasoning, as far as how I feel about **** dealers anyway. As for why I think it should be legalized, that's for a whole other topic. The reason I didn't expand on it is because it'd be off topic and derailing the thread. If you want to make a thread to argue about whether ***** should be legalized or not, feel free, but that's not what this thread is about.
That really has nothing to do with my post. But, really, most of the weed dealers I've known in my time are suburbanite teens and twenty-something from decently well-off families who caused no problems, held down day jobs, and who sold out of their homes, or actually even made house calls. Not sketchy, greasy guys named Spider standing on street corners.
The vast majority of real problems I've ever encounter in the neighborhoods I've lived in or visited (which have generally been fairly nice) have involved *******-swigging drunks getting into domestic **** with their wives and girlfriends. So... I guess if you're worried about the bad element maybe you should be pushing for the return of prohibition?
Those are the same thing.
My best friend growing up sold weed in his mid-to-late teens. So did his girlfriend actually. He and some people he knew grew it. None of them were Mexican, nor Colombian nor involved in any organized crime. They were all actually middle class, white, suburbanite ****. He sold it out of his parents' two story backsplit. His ****** worked construction, his ****** was a cashier at a local grocery store. He primarily sold weed to suit-wearing types in their thirties and forties, sometimes parents of **** we knew from school. He wasn't in any trouble. Never been in a fight. Didn't own any weapons. Never stole (never had to, after all he had money because he was selling weed to paper pushers).
So... yeah.
^ Exactly this.
I've known **** dealers before, and none of them were creepy, scary, aggressive, pedophiles, rapists, *********, etc. They were just normal people. In fact, I've lived with a guy who dealt *****, primarily weed, and I've taken part in doing my own share of ***** in the past. None of the harder ones like crack, heroin, or meth, but I've smoked plenty of pot and done a number of hallucinogenic *****. That's my business, and if some dickhead wanted to report me to the cops for doing *****, the fuck would be his justification? Who was I hurting? No one.
I've never been around any **** dealers who were acting out of line. Sure, dealing ***** in and of itself is *******, but it's not hurting me, and so long as they aren't going around shooting people, robbing stores, stabbing people, ****** people, breaking into people's houses and cars, damaging property, or anything else that's otherwise harming others, then I don't care.
