It doesnt open half the links, and freezes when ordered to open fucking Google more then one tab at a time!

Recommend browsers bar Firefox that use the FF frame.

i agree with that...8 seems like they rushed it way too much and crammed a bunch of features in to keep it "modernized" like chrome and firefox and forgot to make it work consistently...shame, a 7.5 would've been great, a subtle resurfacing and some streamlining but the same functionality would've been OK...i still probably wouldn't use it on my computer but at least when i get on other people's computers it wouldn't let me down so bad...

I use IE8 without a single prob. I also use firefox too. But at work, I mainly use firefox because my comp is fitted with win 2000 nt pro and because IE6 is a stinky pos.

I am having similar problems with the new version of Opera. I've been using Opera for about five years now and only now is it pissing me off to the point of me reaching melt down in terms of tolerance of this browser. It takes forever to open some websites, and even then, the fucking thing wont open. And when I am in certain websites pages don't load so I highlight the page and click "open in new tab" and it opens the page in question quickly in a new tab but not in the one currently viewing. WHAT IN THE FUCKING FUCKETTY FUCK FUCK is going on with Opera. This has never happened in the five years I've used it.

i use firefox and keep IE as my other browser that i almost never use...99% of the time if firefox fails me (extremely rare...knock on wood) IE will also fail...that 1% that it did work for me is why i keep it around though, cause i have been there before and i was happy to have it...

Probably because IE has been shown to be the least secure browser available. There are obvious ways to protect yourself, but some of the vulnerabilities have existed since day one.

I'm still on IE7, but I'm in a mindset where I don't really expect Microsoft products to work very well anyway. They're like British cars made in the 1970's: you eventually learn to keep your expectations VERY low... and you're seldom disappointed that way.
