I just lost 42K in Rep Power!

Being thrown into a room with Plasma and Blue might be horror to some, but heaven to the rest of us.

Basically posting this to see how my rep is doing, though mine did seem unaffected before.



EDIT: Seems to be OK, as is my post count. I've seen a few blips here and there, but nothing serious like everyone else. It is almost as if the board has been caught in a space-time ripple.

After talking to Henry, this didn't affect all users. Some members were just more special than others.

Right now he's working on getting rep restored up to this past Friday.

I remember a member - 4G - years ago who we all helped to get to zero rep by neg repping him instead of pos repping - it was cool and he made it to zero, but all of a sudden losing that many points is something paranormal..

I remember when I helped doing that to someone

All right, so I suppose the final count isn't too bad. I gained 6K in rep after I lost 42K. So, I guess I only ended up about 8K short once it was all restored (I should have been damn near 97K). That's not too bad. I'll just have to be more of a jackass (some of you are in for it) now to make up for my lost points.

Thanks for all of your help, Henry! :hatsoff: I realize rep really isn't a gigantic deal in the first place, but I'm sort of a rep whore... It's great to see the staff tried to rectify the problem. Much appreciated!

No, it's not a gigantic deal. People need to go outside and breath deeply. Get some of that fresh air circulating in their lungs rather than worrying about rep.

It's possible some things may have been deleted in the process of fixing it. I think most everything looks fairly intact though.

I've noticed rep missing before. Before one post it might say 96540 and after a post or a while it will say something like 96320 or something. I don't know. It's odd. I figure as long as I do not get neg repped by someone I am doing fine. I try to remain civil on the board and make my posts and tarry along my day ^_^

^^ I'm not civil. And I lost 42K (well, really only 6K, but they're practically equal) not 300. We aren't the same, you and me... It's about time that we had a duel to the death. :fight:
