Coming from someone with 3 posts... what's the purpose of your post than? The purpose of this thread is a discussion about the contests where popularity of OCSM's is involved. If you would have participated on the board you could have known this discussion is going on for a long time, and not just about this contest or Bree in particular. If you did participate but created an extra (false) account to post this statement, well at least Jane had the balls to tell her point of view and not hide behind another account. I'm sorry EFizzle but this crap pisses me off. Neg Rep.

Anyway, there's not much more for me to contribute, reading this thread. I agree with Jane and with a lot of the views of some members. But I remember a previous discussion about this matter about a year ago. The Miss FreeOnes contest had started and the same issues arose, with the same arguments and the same opinions. It's one of the reasons why we have these monthly OCSM contenst I presume. FO is trying to change something. But I guess the discussion will never end: we all have our own view of what the ideal OCSM is, and will feel a little down if she doesn't win or at least doesn't have the recognition we want her to have.

But then again what DO we agree on? I mean, how would a discussion like this ever come to rest if we even don't even know what "BEST OCSM" means? How can you even have a competition about something that's not even 'defined'? I know what a good OCSM means to me, but that's totally different from what someone else thinks, and that's ok, but if you ever want a competition about something like this there should be a general agreement about what BEST OCSM means. Maybe we should try to agree on something about what a good ocsm is in the first place instead of "yes, but..." or "no I don't agree..."

I'll give it a shot:

- she is generally active on the board. That doesn't mean she has to be active all the time, she has a personal live too. We all have times we don't visite the board that much for some reasons (work, rebuilding a house, sick...) you can't expect the same from them.
- she should contribute allover the board, not just in her own threads. Because if she would, she would stick to an own little island and in what way would this be contributing to the entire community of FO? Yes when it comes to a contest she might raise an army of new members using other channels and this benefits FO, but does that make her a BEST OCSM in general? Think not.
- She posts pictures AND comments. It's nice to get to know the person behind the boobies, but sometimes I like the boobies to do the talking, thank you very much.

That's generally my opinion too. But seen it from Premium Link Upgrade I think you should add as well that they should have something to offer as prices for contests as well. And of course, for the members here that didn't win some pictures to give them some comfort and easy the pain a bit. Well, it's a start. To you a 'good ocsm' means she's contributing to the board with comments, pictures, AND prizes for contests as well. That's ok. Now, if we all be doing that, and discuss it we would be going somewhere instead of having this discussion all over again in about a month when the Miss FreeOnes contest starts... And I'm pretty sure it will happen.

- a 'good ocsm' is not necessarily a long time member. If she's generally active, contributes allover the board etc I don't see any reason why I wouldn't call her a 'good ocsm' only because she's been around for a shorter time than others.

If everyone agreed there wouldn't be a discussion like this over and over and over again. But yes, I agree it basically covers it. Maybe it's because we are Belgians and we know something about consensus in politics, Thomas . I'm only saying: 1) People should agree on a definition of what a 'best ocsm' is first. 2) After that there should be a discussion on how the voting in a contest of 'best ocsm' should be handled. But the latter is not my job, but FO's, I'm just a member.

I have to get this get this off my chest. I just looked at the OCSM contest and the most active ladies on here have the least amount of votes. I find that very upsetting. So many of you complain that a majority of the OCSM's on here only come around for contests or to spam their sites. Well you have a core group of ladies who don't do that but they don't get the support they need in the contests on this site. I talked to a couple of the ladies and they find it hurtful. You all need to think about is who you want to represent this site as OCSM's of the month. I also didn't post this to upset any of the new OCSM's, I heart you all. I think the sad fact that everyone needs to realize is that FreeOnes is a business, and they make the bulk of their money from the PayOnes side of it. That being said, these contests really aren't to give recogition to deserving ladies, but to attract new members here so they will hopefully spend money on the PayOnes side. The OCSMs really are recruited and welcomed with open arms toward that end also. Yes, they benefit from the marginal exposure the FreeOnes board provides them, but at the end of the day, FreeOnes hopes to make money from the OCSMs presence. Is that fair? Is that the way it should be? Hell no! Should truly active and objectively deserving women win these contests? Of course! But that's the reality of it. The contests on their face, and their true purpose and the reality surrounding them are completely two different things. At the end of the day, FreeOnes is a business, and as with any business, making money is their primary goal. Everything else is secondary.

cindy CD/TV is crazy. I hardly ever talked with her and for some nutty reason she thinks I should give her a lot of attention. I wasnt on here in December and I came back to a weird message from her saying I never tell her thank you enough or talk to her enough. I am not her friend and in the times I have responded to her I have always been polite. I'm sorrybut her behavior is mentally disturbing. This thread was started after some of the OCSM's and I had a talk. They wanted it brought out into the open but were nervous about posting it, so I said I would post it. I'm glad it was posted because people were able to express their opinions.

That is creepy. I have responded to her in threads and in private messages. I have the copies of sent messages to her. I wont lie, I dont read the rep messages very much and I do respond to everyone when I have the time.
