I am really disappointed in some of you guys

Hopefully there's one thing that we can all agree on: the members of the FreeOnes team have recognized the issues with previous contests, and with each new contest, they try to improve it so that past issues don't repeat. From where I sit, I think they're trying their best to increase traffic with the contests, bring in more new members and OCSM's and still keep things fun for existing members and OCSM's. They're not perfect, but I think they're really trying. Not to get all geeky or historical, but what we're seeing here is a microcosm of the same problem that every democracy throughout history has faced: people don't always vote the way we think they should. So hey, if the Greeks and Romans didn't get it just right, let's not beat on Petra and Roald too much. So let's offer CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and help them to make it better, eh?

So with that said, while I do agree with Jane's OP, I also don't want people like Briana (or any other newer girl) to feel like interlopers. Jane is right, that more than a few veteran OCSM's don't post in Talk anymore. I don't know why. I'd say there are a variety of reasons. Some girls have also stopped posting (or very seldom post) on forums totally dedicated to THEM! Maybe it's the whole Facebook thing... I don't know. But anyway, I think I speak for others when I say that I'd like to see the "vets" get some recognition and continue posting here, but I'd also like to see more new girls (or "old girls" who stopped posting) post in the Talk section again.

I'm not a warm & fuzzy person by nature. And I'm not suggesting that we all hug and sing songs together. But let's all consider that some of the new girls come here, look around, perceive (what they might think is) a harsh environment... and say not just "no", but "hell no!" to posting in Talk. All I'm saying is, let's try to keep it fun and try to encourage others to join in... and stay! And to all the people who have been here for awhile and who keep this place fun (OCSM's and regular members alike), let's be appreciative of all of them.

I have to get this get this off my chest. I just looked at the OCSM contest and the most active ladies on here have the least amount of votes. I find that very upsetting. So many of you complain that a majority of the OCSM's on here only come around for contests or to spam their sites. Well you have a core group of ladies who don't do that but they don't get the support they need in the contests on this site. I talked to a couple of the ladies and they find it hurtful. You all need to think about is who you want to represent this site as OCSM's of the month. I also didn't post this to upset any of the new OCSM's, I heart you all. I just think it is so sad that the most active OCSM's on here usually get thrown under the bus.

If it was a contest for who's most active it wouldn't be much of a contest. Petra or a mod could just look at the stats and hand out the prize. I don't know how you expect me to know how active the candidates are. Other than a 'last seen on' notation on their profile pages. The candidates met certain requirements regarding activity, as did the voters.

There are a lot of girls who didn't make it this far in the contest. To complain about not getting enough votes, if you're a finalist, smacks of rudeness i.m.o. And I fail to see how anybody is getting thrown under the bus. Except maybe the voters whose decision-making is being insulted. I voted in the nomination round a while back. Not sure if it was for this contest or a previous one. But the girl I voted for was active, attractive, and she had actually bothered to send me a message about something else completely and I remembered she had done so. She didn't owe me anything and I didn't owe her anything. And the same goes for the current finalists. We don't owe each other anything.

Meh. I feel like I'm forgetting some points I wanted to make. But I have an appointment to donate blood. Hopefully my in-box won't be flooded with hate mail in my absence.

Take into consideration, some people might have good reasons not to vote, or chose to not have bring out their vote yet.

I don't participate in voting contests. But I do have an opinion. I don't see how participation in the contest is even a factor - we're not voting for mayor ...

I will wrap this up for the idiots that can't seem to understand simple English. I did not post this in any way to be mean to Briana. She is a sweet lady, in fact I talked to her on Twitter yesterday. This isn't a Jane versus Briana thread, so DO not turn it into that. What I said was, I think it is a damn SHAME that OCSM's that have been on here a long time, are not getting the support they deserve. Nikki and Miss Hybrid both won, but not by much. Many of us OCSM's stepped back and asked people to vote for them instead of us. That's what you do for ladies you respect, know well and care about. I think Briana is a doll, but no way she should win over more deserving ladies like Spexy, Jinxy, Vikki etc. They have all spent time on here getting to know everyone and should have a ton of votes. So many of you bitch about OCSM's that come on here spamming, only promoting themselves and only posting in their threads. Yet you will go and vote for these ladies when a contest roles around. Put up or shut up. It would also help to vote with your brain and not your dick, just a suggestion. If there is anything you do not understand in this posting, let me know and I will try and dumb it down more.

As for posting about this contest and bringing in new members, that can be tricky. I see people bitching on Twitter and FB about ladies spamming contests. Just like on here, many people get annoyed by that. That's why a lot of us don't really post about these contests. It's not that we don't care, we just have to respect other people. That's why I have always stated these contests should be voted on by existing members only.


As for the jealous comment, please. I don't get jealous, I am happy with who I am. The only lady that I envy is Adriana Lima because she is smoking hot. As for you Caring, I didn't tell you off because you disagreed with me. I told you off because you are annoying. You repeat the same thing over and over again. Get over it and move on. Spexy I love you. What you posted is 100 percent correct. Sorry if people were harsh with you. As for everyone that posted in here, thank you. It's good to talk about this issue and hear different opinions. It's better to get this out in the open, discuss it and then move on. I wish more people on here would post honestly. We used to have serious discussions on here and I hope we can go back to that. I doesn't matter if we disagree, at least we listen to each other. Now we should have a big Freeones group hug and make this forum as fun and it used to be.

But it's really sounding as if OCSM wont get recognized unless they've a) been here for years and are super popular or b) are unbelievable smokin hot and spam the place up with nude photos. I'm neither. Don't get me wrong I didn't join for the contests. But it kind of sucks to hear that my chances of even getting NOMINATED for MissFreeOnes is worse than a snowballs in hell. I'm not surprised. Just a bit saddened and disappointed that based on the sites voting history my contributions will most likely go um-noticed as well. It makes for a sad Aria.

I think that you are referring to JBS here, who went out of his way to counter the new members being signed up when Briana was getting votes from new members. This did not happen quite so much in the second month as JBS was not around.

Good question. Posting content on here is always a plus. This site is a mix of content and a forum. When you have zero interest in posting on the forum, they should not be allowed to join these contests.nThey haveno time to post here, but when the Miss freeones contest comes, they suddenly have have all the time in the world to post on here. Anyone can find the time to post on here if they really wanted to. Nina, Mariah, Bree, Vicky Vette, Chica, Nikki Nova, etc all have found the time to post on here when no contests are going on. How many times has our current Miss Freeones posted on here since she won the title?

30 Times (not including her thank yous for winning)
5 times in January (after the end of the competition)
2 times in February
1 in March
0 in April
8 in May
0 in June, July and August
14 in September
0 in October and November

And for exactly that reason we introduced the OCSM category. So people would not be butt hurt when the overall winner would not post here :2 cents:

MissFreeOnes is more than just the board. People often seem to forget that the main site FreeOnes.com is way bigger than the board community.

Dont let 1 thread ruin the fun for you. But if you want to compete in the MissFreeOnes competition you of course have to get some attention. That can be just posting and replying or you can post a pic of yourself from time to time. Give people the chance to get to know you a bit.
