This is why things have been set up the way they have. Members who have been around long enough to get 50 posts for the contest get to nominate the OCSMs for the monthly contest. Members who get 5 posts get to vote.

IF there are OCSMs who are getting hurt feelings, I'm sorry. Really, I am. However, I'm of the view that what you put into it you get out of it.

In an ideal world under ideal circumstances OCSMs would be voted for on merit alone and not because they had to 'campaign' for it. In an ideal world under ideal circumstances that's how people would vote for politicians in our world governments...not because they're so desperate to get rid of someone or because of skin color, religious affiliation,etc. But this isn't the perfect world so yea, OCSMs are going to have to do a little work to get noticed beyond their regular threads.

As far as Miss FreeOnes goes, again...

- The Best OCSM category is going to have limited seats. Members are going to get a say in who's in it and girls MUST have posted in 2012 to even be considered.

- Additionally, vote weight for ALL categories are based on length of time as a member and post count. The longer you've been a member and the more posts you have, the more say you have. (no, people won't be able to spam their way to getting more vote weight, but those who actually participate will be rewarded)

Beyond this, it's really up to the girls who are in the contest to get their fans to sign up and start participating on FreeOnes in a regular manner. They don't want to campaign, they don't want to get fans here? Then they really have no room to say anything.

So there you have it from the horse's mouth.

I don't understand this thread. The two winners have been Nikki Nova and Miss Hybrid - both OCSMs who are very active on the board. Both had new members signing up left and right to vote for them and I do not see people complaining when certain members go into their threads and brag about how they got twenty of their friends to sign up and vote.

I think that you are referring to JBS here, who went out of his way to counter the new members being signed up when Briana was getting votes from new members. This did not happen quite so much in the second month as JBS was not around.

Good question. Posting content on here is always a plus. This site is a mix of content and a forum. When you have zero interest in posting on the forum, they should not be allowed to join these contests.nThey haveno time to post here, but when the Miss freeones contest comes, they suddenly have have all the time in the world to post on here. Anyone can find the time to post on here if they really wanted to. Nina, Mariah, Bree, Vicky Vette, Chica, Nikki Nova, etc all have found the time to post on here when no contests are going on. How many times has our current Miss Freeones posted on here since she won the title?

30 Times (not including her thank yous for winning)
5 times in January (after the end of the competition)
2 times in February
1 in March
0 in April
8 in May
0 in June, July and August
14 in September
0 in October and November

There should be two separate categories : Best half-assed OCSM and Best Elite OCSM lol. That way everyone wins lol. :1orglaugh

I Dont Get Why This Thread Was Created In The First Place Than. If The 2 Girls That HAVE Won, Post Regularly And Have Been Here For A While, Then Obviously They Deserve It. Now, Briana Happens To Be Winning (From What Ive Read) And Now This Thread Has Started For What Purpose Than? If Not To Show Hatred Towards Briana?

I think that the problem the people had with Briana originally arose in a small member run thread - OCSM of the week, when she turned up and then campaigned for votes. She was new and did not know better. As far as I can tell, she has since been posting regularly in her own and other threads, and long may it continue. I applaud her for sticking around after some of the things that got bandied about.

Personally, I would like to see OCSM's that have been continuously active for a number of months (not years necessarily) be rewarded for their contributions in whatever way the rest of us regular members can, be it through voting in "official" competitions or unofficial ones.

All contests involving internet models/pornstars will turn into poularity contests, no matter what the contest is supposed to really be about. A couple of years ago i entered a wallpaper contest on a model forum and one of the models that posted there also entered. She got three times as many votes as any of the other poeple who entered the contest (and it wasn´t because she had any kind of talent in graphic design, her entry was complete crap). There is no point in getting upset about it, a porn forum will always attract a lot of morons who think that kissing a models ass/voting for her in some contest will make him her bestest friend in the whole wide world.

That's why I think no one should be able to vote on here unless you are a member for at least 6 months. That way they get a chance to see who is really active. Voting for anyone based on pictures is plain stupid.

Or they should vote only OCSM with X minimum amount of posts in the month. I'm disappointed myself...i posted a lot last month and threw a free cam show and didn't even get nominated once.
I mean, i don't care really, believe it or not, but i'm just saying...seeing girls who never post in the ocsm miss freeones contest and risking not to see girls like Jane and others who contribute regularly all year long seems just wrong or at least unfair to me.

Both Nikki Nova and Miss Hybrid are members that have been here for a while. Both of them won the last two months with almost overwhelming majority.

Why can't a new member win this month. If a new OCSM won this month, then 2 out of the 3 will have been won by an older member.

I think all the OCSM's are great so it doesn't really matter who wins. Briana deserves it this month though imo. She came second(or 3rd?) in the last 2 months and she has a lot of bad stuff going on in her personal life

Briana came second in both the previous contests.

All the regular contributing OCSM's will win, it is just a matter of when.

It is 2 yrs ago that I joined FreeOnes. If it had not been for the Freeones members who adopted me in Miss FreeOnes 2010, I would still be completely unknown. This shows the power of this place but in reality it is power of the members. I was absolutley over the moon to win the EuroTart in the 2011 contest. I was also delighted to win OVSM of the month.

I post pretty much everyday because I like it here. I read some of the comments and the jokes and I could wet my pants. I must admit, that I mainly stick to my own threads or in the ones I know and trust, inside the members area.

What I do find quite surprising is actually how few people vote in these contests. When you look at the names though, it is the same people who post regularly and I feel I have got to know.

I hope everyone calms down and keeps it a fun place to come to.

Yup. The 24 people who posted in this thread that DID NOT vote could so easily change the contest from what it is now. Either Jane or XoEve could be gaining the lead...or the other OCSMs could seriously be bumped up.

But, I suppose voting is voting no matter what the vote is for be it an internet contentest or vote for your government reps. You still get those people who rather not go vote then have the audacity to complain about the results.
