I am fucking fascinated with ants and their ways

If you watched the movie "a bug's life" you know that ants take rainy days off.
I've always wondered what they do in their downtime.

Mate. Lol

Spider Moth (Musotiminae, Crambidae)

Members of a few Musotimine genera have wing markings strongly suggestive of spiders, presumably as an anti-predation strategy.

Tortoise beetles owe their name to the carapace under which they can find shelter like a tortoise, with the difference that their carapace can open for flight. This species (Charidotis venusta) with a golden ring that looks like a target is from the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador.

Yellow Stripy things
While I hate hornets/wasps, I have to say I'm memorized by the bumblebee. I think someone famously said it physically shouldn't be able to fly like it does and I concur.
Aside from the fact that it's wing/body ratio is comically off, watching them fly and stop on a dime in mid-air is crazy. It just seems like it should be physically impossible but it does it like it's nothing. No wonder Korsakov even wrote a song about it.
