Im gonna take a chance and say Football (or 'soccer') has the same amount of, if not more strategies than American Football. There's formation, man marking, positioning, defence, attack, midfield, set peices ect. The only bad thing about Football is theres too many divers trying to get penaltys and free kicks from slight touches. American Football is virtually stop'n'start play, Football can be like this, but most of the time isn't.
As for the 2-1 statement, some of the best games have been 2-1. You don't need massive amounts of goals for a good game.
France VS Brazil, World Cup 1/4 final.
1-1 after 90 minutes, same after extra-time, ends by the qualification of France after penalty kicks session.
Only two goal but everyone who knows a bit about soccer agrees : one ofr the most greatest game ever played in the history of soccer.

soccer is a strategic sport but not nearly as football. i played both so i know though i suck at soccer something ferocious. americans find soccer extremely boring to watch though it is fun to play for a little while then all that running for nothing kicks in.
2 to 1 as the score my be a good game but it is a boring one to sit and watch for hours.

I can remember watching that when I was about 10 , I liked football before this but it was this game (by far the best in the world ever) , world cup and the man Diego Maradona that really got me interested in football , that was the best World Cup ever , best games , best player the world will ever see , playing in his prime no -one could touch him ever , we wont see the likes of Maradona ever again he was a very , very special player , I feel prvilaged to have been lucky enough to see the great man in action

Anyways, my question is this. In the English football premier league at the end of the season 2 or 3 teams are demoted to a lower division where they get less money and play weaker teams. Does the NFL have a similar system?
