I still haven't finished my case for the prosecution of American so whilst we wait here is a little treat for all our only "world super power" friends better known to us all as Americans. :1orglaugh
We have a poll that is still open to determine which version of the American national anthem is the best and at present I think Jimi is in the lead as his version has been democratically recognised by board members from all over the world as the best version. You can still note if you like. America can't, I hope, ram this one down our throats. :1orglaugh

We don't deny them. They won Superbowl so they are NFL Champs. Final.
But they are not World Champion. To claim the title of World Champion, you have to win a competition going under the name of World Cup or World Championship. Final.

Most of us are talking about America in this thread because thats part of the discussion. The Saints are from America therefore its part of the conversation. Im not jealous in the slightest. I'm British and proud, just as you are American and proud.

It's the way Americans pronouce certain words that I find quite funny. For example: Iraq, progress, Potato are the first three that cum to mind.
In England we pronouce many of the same words in a completely different way. However, in my opinion, some parts of England have their own language which I think they also call English. Liverpool would be a perfect example. Sometimes I :1orglaugh when I hear them talk too.

The IFAF World Cup doesn't count because the American team is not allowed to use professional players. If the best cannot play then it doesn't count.
me myself i am still not convinced the saints are a better team than the vikings!! vikings had to turn the ball over significantly and continuously do stupid shit for the saints to BARELY beat them...imagine if minnesota brought their A game..lol the game wouldnt have been close..as explosive as the saints offense is they were SHUT DOWN in the second half
