Part of the reason that I never ever eat fast food. It's SO awful for you, on so many levels, horse meat or not. It's horrifying that people eat this crap on a regular basis.

I don't have a problem with people eating horses.

I do have a problem with the makers of food being deceptive to their customers about what they are buying.

The point is, it needs to be made outta what it's advertised.

A buffalo berger needs to be made of buffalo.
A turkey berger needs to be made of turkey.
And a hamburger needs to be made of ... ah? ... Ham??

Sort of. They lealised the slaughter of horses for human consumption, but did not allocate funds for horse meat inspection, nor did they draft legislation for the regulation of quality. You can't sell meat for human consumption without an approved inspection.

It'll happen. Just in stages. People here are pretty skiddish about horse meat, for some reason.
