To each their own. I'm glad you enjoyed it I only really liked the final segment. The fourth one had one jump scare, which was more than 1,2 and 3. The second segment was the worst...25 mins long an it felt like 3 hours lol.
Almost October month! Time to pick out some favs to watch
Thread has been dormant too long. Anyway, those with Netflix Instant can watch "The Tall Man" directed by Pascal Laugier of "Martyrs" fame. Be advised, however, the film is not really horror, despite it's director's pedigree, and going in with that expectation could pose problems. It's not a bad film, just not what I was expecting. Furthermore, on October 1st "Slither" will be available for streaming and I will absolutely watch it again and encourage anyone who has not seen it to do so as well.
Yeah, I was excited for The Tall Man until I saw the trailer. Not what I wanted to see lol.
As for Slither, I was gonna watch it a few times and then never. I know Jenna Fischer (Pam from The Office) is in it, but is it just like a cameo/quick death or is she actually a decent role in the movie?
...and most importantly, Nathan Fillion plays the lead role. Why he´s not the biggest movie star in the world is a complete mystery. On the plus side, Elizabeth Banks is featured prominently and she has a southern accent so that adds a little something extra.

Well I went to see The Possession. It was so boring A half decent story and the acting was good enough, but no scares.
I liked it. But I'm a sucker for these religious/horrors. Did you see it in theatres? People were shitting themselves when I saw it. Screams and jumps and OMG's.
Sinister looks alright. I'll check it out.
October!! Best time of the year!! Dusk TV, formerly Scream Network usually gives a free trial during October. Can't wait!
Watched "Lovely Molly" yesterday. Not the worst, not the best. Gretchen Lodge, who plays Molly, does a very good job and the movie has the right atmosphere for this type of film. It just feels like it never "pays off". 7 out of 10.
Paranormal Activity 4 is coming out on October 19! Who's excited?! ME!
