Anyone who watches Boss on Starz can probably see John Edwards in the Ben Zajac character. Not a direct parallel, but there are elements. Probably more a mix of Bill Clinton and John Edwards, I guess. But unlike Bill, Johnny Edwards knocked his mistress up, as Ben did in the show.
I wouldn't take up for her for anything. I mean, she is a whore in the first degree. It's just that I put the blame as much on him as her. So IMO, she's no more a homewrecker than he is... especially since his wife had cancer. In fact, I'd put most of the blame on him. Just because a woman offers it up, that doesn't mean that you have to take her up on it... assuming she was the one pursuing him, and not the other way around.
And of course she's writing a book. That's what people like her do. No surprise there. Lay down with a dog, you will likely get fleas. But I think they both had fleas before they ever laid down with each other.
