Hoping you guys and gals can give me your opinion here. I am considering an upgrade in my home theater speakers and I am stuck between two options.
I like the size and clarity when it comes to the Bose cube array speakers (you know, the small souble stack) but I do not like the bass that bose systems provide. JBL makes an awesome powered subwoofer, and that's what i am getting. My debate is whether to get JBL speakers with the sub or get a set of bose cube speakers with the JBL sub.
anyone have thoughts on this matter? here are my main thoughts:
1. bose has good clarity and those little suckers can get pretty loud too. the main thing with their speakers is the size. they'll fit anywhere and with teh cubes, you can direction the sound to get that "reflected " sound effect
2. JBL speakers are 3-ways. you will get a better overall range than the 2-ways and this is great for action movies, gaming, and such. a buddy who is a DJ recommended the 3-way speakers. i don't know how important this would be considering i am going with teh jbl sub regardless
any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
