Hilary blames Sanders for losing in her book

Don't look at me, I'm still laughing at the people who honestly believe in all sincerity that she lost because - and only because - she's a woman.

Instead of looking in the mirror she deflects and projects her own skewed take on what happened. A shitty candidate is a shitty candidate. The fix was in for her from the outset. Superdelegates, fawning press coverage and a crooked DNC couldn't cover up the facts that she is a failure. Every thing she's ever touched has turned to crap. She's the polar opposite of King Midas.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Ace Boobtoucher again.

Let's face it. At the end of the day, she's simply trying to sell books. What's the old saying??? "Just spell my name right"??? LOL

In fact, she'll be doing just that on Rachel Maddow Thursday night at 9 eastern.

As I was clicking on the thread I was thinking along these lines.

A book was inevitable but I'm waiting for the day she goes away. But she not only is going to sell books, but segment time on news shows. *sigh*

in her shitty book she states that the overall theme of "1984" is that you should trust the government. Just let that sink in a little.

I'm surprised you read it already. Can you give us more of an in depth analysis? Your perspective could prove invaluable.

Interesting. I'm not a fan of Clinton at all and, admittedly, have not read the book. However, the quote I have seen referenced in relation to this topic is this one:

“Attempting to define reality is a core feature of authoritarianism,” the defeated presidential candidate writes in What Happened, published on Tuesday. “This is what the Soviets did when they erased political dissidents from historical photos. This is what happens in George Orwell’s classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, when a torturer holds up four fingers and delivers electric shocks until his prisoner sees five fingers as ordered.”

The goal is to make you question logic and and reason and to sow mistrust, Clinton writes. “For Trump, as with so much he does, it’s about simple dominance.”

Now, how someone can interpret this as meaning that we should trust the government is lost on me. Then again, not having read the book I really don't have any context with which to frame the quote. Perhaps there's another excerpt from the book that would illustrate it. Since apparently you have read the book I would really appreciate it if you could explain it to me. Thanks amigo!
