Finished reading it, Rachael. Good read.
As to the documentary itself? Not that I've checked it out, but I'm guessing it is as that known concept says --- Controversy sells. Boring does not. :dunno:
For example, just yesterday I was reading some Sports Writer's reply to a reader's inquiry as to why he was anti-Chip Kelly. (The Coach of the NFL Philadelphia Eagles.) The gist of the Sports Writer's reply was that it's not that Chip Kelly was not a good coach. It was just that the Sports Writer was tired of seeing Chip Kelly being portrayed as this Mega Revolutionary Innovator Supreme ... the Best right now ... when he's really NOT once the data, statistics, Etc. is analyzed. The Sports Writer concluded that it had to be admitted that however, in a way, it WAS more interesting writing about Chip Kelly vs. the other coaches who were BORING to write about.
So I guess bottom line, the Sports Writers were more apt to write about whatever is gonna generate more interest, readership, discussion / debate ... rather than other content that is more likely to be more accurate, but BORING.
