Helter Swelter

Better that than grunge, I guess. I don't think I've seen any vampires, at least not ones out of the closet. But I do have a Twilight poster my girlfriend got me when she spent over a $100 for my birthday.

Do you like gay movies or was she actually thinking about herself while spending that money on a twilight poster?

I was hoping some of the regulars got the reference:

including my epic posts on page 2.

And it's a very comfortable 69 degrees sunny late afternoon right now. We have the best summers. But we're pretty much a bunch of assholes (myself included) so you probably don't want to move up here.

I used to live up there or thereabouts. Decades ago. Or to put it in perspective, so long ago that Jagger69 had just begun receiving social security checks ;)
It was wonderful. I even loved the rain. But those I left behind tell me I'd be completely shocked to see what (much of it) has turned into. Still, I sometimes think about buying a place somewhere along the Oregon coast, or a house on Orcas or San Juan, in which to spend my autumn years.

All those places would be splendid. I loved Cannon Beach in Oregon.

I love the Pac NW (spent some time in Rhododendron a number of years ago) so nothing I can say to counter this post other than to take some satisfaction in the knowledge that my generation is likely to be the last one to be able to take advantage of social security benefits at all so let my good friend pool_hustler poke fun at my age all he wants....I'll be sure to toss him a couple of quarters out of my Bentley when I see him under a freeway bridge in another 20 years. Plus it, was hot as fuck here again today!! :hairpull:
