IGN.com received a preview build of this game recently.......11 of the 60+ chapters are played and reviewed.

Seems pretty cool to me. Gonna be very different being that the control of the characters is pretty much 100% contextual. It reminds me of an american/modern version of a Shenmue. Thats how I think the game will do as far as fans too. Shenmue kinda had a cult following and is regarded by alot of people in the games industry as an extremely good and epic game......

I think it will be interesting to see the ending after your every move affects each character you play and interact with. Has a very "crash" the movie vibe. For those who dont know,"crash" was a movie that kinda followed a bunch of different protagonists in its course.

I think this game will be entertaining at first. However it will be a very small genre in gaming. I see maybe 3 of these type of games coming out per system lifetime, if that. Only one, possibly two, will be great.

Who knows. I am slightly interested in this game but not enough to pay 60 dollars. Or get a PS3 for.

Yeah,thats exactly what alot of people might think and be turned off by it. However, like a movie, it may suck people into its story and the interest about "what happens next?" may have them coming back for more. The curiousity alone about what will happen down the road and ultimately the ending has me interested and I havent played the game yet. Its neat to me how simple actions could twist what happens 600 different ways till the ending.

I am interested in the if you decide to kill or let someone live it completely alters the storyline. How many times do people want to play through the same game to see countless endings that may or may not have that different of a result after the second, maybe third play through? However games like Uncharted have shown games can be as a movie and still be completely playable.

I am sure Heavy Rain will be successful like Mirror's Edge. Underrated and have a strong following. Beyond that it will be a hidden gem for some and whatever to others.

Indo Prophecy was the most amazing game I've ever play during the 1st half, and one of the shittiest during the 2nd half. The female in Heavy Rain looks hot.

Don't forget Fahrenheit on PS2. It's the same kind of game, and developed by the same team behind Heavy Rain. This is going to be one hell of a game!!

Im officially looking forward to this now that I'm hearing real good things about it. Its doing sweet in the reviews with a 90% avg out of 35 reviews. Yes its very unique and wont be for everyone,hell I may not even like it once I try it but thats exactly whats cool.

Its an extreme change of pace for once. Everything is shooters,shooters and more shooters these days. It will be nice to play out a movie kinda and not scramble to unlock scopes and shit for an assault rifle for once......

I sound like a broken record but this year has been huge so far with quality games....

I think this is why its getting good reviews for a game that does everything as far from the book as it gets. Still wont be for all though...

The fight with that guy in the girl's apartment was cool , I liked how you had to do some buton presses at the right time or you got your ass kicked.

Yeah I liked that too, felt just as good as being 100% in control.

the fight sequence was intense indeed. I hope that when you get deeper into the game and fight stronger people that the button presses are a little more difficult, it was fairly simple i only messed up one or two of the joystick moves.

weird,different,imaginative, almost like a shenmue the way you react in the fight scenes. i just dont know if i have the patience to play a game that moves that slow.having to figure out clues and such

downloading the demo now. Never read a thing about it. The demo will ether be good and I'll rent the game, or the demo will suck and thats as far as I go with the game. I've never played a demo I hated and enjoyed the game. I have played demos that are fun and the game still sucked. So we'll see.
