Going out of town this year, also - should be fun.

I used to have mine finished by late October or early November, so that i would not be battling with the massive crowds throughout December. In the last few years though i have been very lazy, in that i have often left it to the last week, and one year until Christmas eve before declaring my shopping finished.

This year i hope to finish it by next weekend.

Incidentally, jod, I will not be purchasing any gift cards whatsoever, really, that's all we need is a bunch of retail store executives rewarding themselves with thousands upon thousands of dollars from our unredeemed balance. You don't think that most of us end up leaving a balance on gift cards? I've got news for you. Abstain! Refrain! :glugglug:

Damn, I haven't yet started.

I had to start early for two reasons:

a)I live far away from my family and won't be going home for the holidays so all of my gifts are being shipped in advance, so I make sure to buy and package them up on time.

and b) I'm leaving for a weeks vacay next week, so that didn't leave me with alot of time leftover to shop so I'm getting it done and packed up before then Normally I shop all the way until the 23rd of December though hehe.
