Yes like Anna Nicole Smith.. I hated how much of a gold digging asshole she was until she died and then all of a sudden she turned into a princess

Yes I have and it doesn't bother me

long story

It depends. If the person was a total douchebag bastard in life...death will not change my opinion.

Celebrities are a mixed bag. Michael Jackson's passing is incredibly sad because of his impact on THE WORLD. Ed McMahon's passing is incredibly sad based on the dire straits he had sunk Post-Tonight SHow and that he was a Dual War Hero for the nation. Farrah Fawcett's passing is sad because cancer is a bitch and we can't conquer it at the moment....

I am not changing my opinion when a person dies... but i always show some respect (not in an hypocrital way).

I'm not a religious person but honoring the dead is something i consider very important.

It depends.
Im from 'the ghetto' so alot of people who died in my neighborhood had it coming to them.

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, various serial killers, etc. All of these people are dead and I have no problem making negative comments about them.

I've also made negative comments about dead people whose views I strongly disagree with, i.e. politicians, etc.

My opinion of somebody or how I talk about them doesn't change just because they are dead. If anybody wants me to talk better of them then they should have acted better in life.

Take a Hit, Spunker!
Yes. Only 2, and they are:

Kurt Cobain- ruined music and he should've shot himself long a long time before he....shot himself.

Michael Jackson- fucking pedophile, hope he rots in hell!!!

In short, glad both of those fuckers are dead!! No big loss either way.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Absolutely. If I was willing to do it when they were alive, why would it be any different after they've died? If it's the truth, it's the truth.

What does being dead change? If you are an asshole when you're alive then you're just a dead asshole afterwards. I've never said that I was happy about someone dying that I can remember, but I guess there is always a first time.

Well he was still alive when I made this post and I still think it's funny.http://board.freeones.com/showpost.php?p=2849427&postcount=518

I still talk an awful lot of shit about Mohammed, LBJ, JFK, Hitler, Stalin, St. Paul, Kurt Cobain, Kurt Vonnegut, Derek Thomas, Tom Landry, Mother Theresa and Karen Carpenter.

But I draw the line at Aubrey Hepburn. That woman's beauty was timeless and a gentler soul I've never seen.

I'm sure we all try not to but if someone's a bad person in their lifetime it would be wrong just to forget that, as long as we can remember the good things too. I hated the way Jade Goody (of BB in the UK) was treated when she died, she was pounded in the press for being uneducated, racist and just a horrible human being, then when she died she was touted as the people's princess.
As for all the texts that go round, like all the MJ stuff that's arrived today, I can see why people think it's funny, it's just not in very good taste.

RIP MJ and FF

At least she didnt molest children. That makes her a saint compared to micheal jackson.

As for farrah fawcett she was a saint and deserves to be remembered.

I don't think I'd categorize Farrah Fawcett as a saint(no miracles attributed to her, yet.) remember her whacked out appearances on Letterman a few years back? What meds was she on during that show?

She was no better or no worse than most people but she was a celebrity and she was very beautiful when she was young. Idealizing her because of her beauty and saying things like she's a saint while complimentary and soothing just isn't right. The best thing you could say about her, or any kindhearted person is that they lived their lives as fully as possible and loved the people who were important to them as best they could.

I do agree with you in the comparrison to a point.

What about zombies?!? Have you changed your mind on a person after they have come back from the dead?!?

I used to hate my neighbour Mr Jenkins, but now he's a zombie he's really cool!!

Zombies are always cool... that is, until they try and eat your brain:eek:

yes. some assholes deserve to be killed twice and even more.
