The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
With the insane amount of fire sirens that I hear on a constant basis, one would figure that I would see more fires. But, yet, I don't ever see them. I only hear about them on the news and see footage of the aftermath. I know they're happening somewhere, but not in front of me.

Has anyone actually seen a house/apartment/building fire before, while it's happening, with their own two eyes?

:dunno:

It just seems like they're very elusive, even though they're...stationary...fires...

Only the one I set in 1996, 3 people were in that house I am the only Survivor ;)

At least all the evidence of their horrible deaths were covered up and im still a free man, free to do it again..................:D

Yeah, I have. I'm not going to lie, but it was entertaining until the fire went out and I remembered that it was someone's house and I'd better hide the gas can before someone got suspicious...

And I voted for you to suck my balls cause, well... I shouldn't have to tell you, but apaprently you need to be reminded about it.

Yes, at uni my dumbfuck of a mate left his hippy dippy candle unattended & it started a fire! The funny part, when the firemen arrived & started removing the flammable stuff from the bedroom they lifted his bed & his mucky book collection was under there!! They went flying out the window!! lol

Wasn't anything special or particularly exciting. Just watched a place go up while I was waiting for a bus. :dunno:

I saw a house literally explode one time. Gas line blew or something like that...

Anyhow, the water heater in that house was gas heated and shot itself into the neighbors roof and subsequently burned that house down too.

Sad.

Lol at the poll, I voted "Suck my balls CCT" just for shit and giggles.

@thread - I've seen one, its a big factory, can't really see anything just smoke and fire all over the place, firefighters trying to put the fire out, people all around curious about what is happening. I didn't stick around though.

Yea I did actually about two months ago. I was going to the lake and on the way a ghetto apartment complex with smoking and fire trucks were there with people running around with barefoot babies in diapers. You could see a little blaze but they had it under control.

My neice just witnessed one over the last weekend. I guess she talked to my bro and informed him that "5 people died in a public housing joint" directly across the street from her in NYC. It may have made "the national news", I don't know.

But yeah, Chef, I've seen dozens and dozens of all types of fires.
It's funny, there's this thing about the firehouses . . . It's either dead with little, if any calls or you get ambushed with calls for the entire shift.
If you know where to look on the web, you can find a bank of every dispatch that goes out to your local e Fire and Police depts. Keep in mind that just 'cause you hear the distinctive fire engine chime off in the distance, they're responding to any and every type of accident that you could imagine. Also, there are a large number of fire alarms of which the Fire dept has to take seriously, particularly in high density - multi level - residential housing complexes. Dispatch, around here, routinely send out two engines and a truck company simply to follow up on these types of alarms. That's sure as hell going to make a lot of noise ! Just the same, a firefighter is always delighted to respond to false alarms as opposed to fully engulfed structures. :)

Conspiracy...
Yes...

I also started one in my home when I was a child. :Flame:
I put it out.

Thankfully, I had responsible parents. I was taken to the Fire Station and had to talk to them about what I did.

I never did that again.

:hatsoff:

As a cop for better than a decade? Yes- and more than my fair share, and have even gone into some for pets n people (much to the irritation of the fire chief :D )

This is the biggest blaze that I've ever witnessed (Aug 2002) An entire block went up ! The complex was under construction and the whole friggin thing went up. The fire was so intense that physical pieces of structural timber were lifted into the sky, only to shower homes some 1/4 to 1/2 a mile away, starting additional fires. Imagine that ! Raining Kingsford BBQ Charcoal !

Look ! A pyro's dream ! :nono:

I'm surprised so many people have seen a fire. Seriously, I never, ever see them, but I hear fire trucks constantly. :dunno: Damnit...

what the fuck you lookin at?
Not a house or apartment. I saw a hay barn burn to the ground and it was fuckin awesome!

One of our sheds (like a hay barn) burnt down about 15 years ago. And a nearby farm burnt down last week. And I saw a car go on fire in a car park once. And the factory where I used to work caught fire. And another factory where I sort of worked recently had a big fire, but I wasn't there. And a burger van went up in flames a while back, that was a big one, all the fat and oil I suppose. Wow, I'm a fire magnet! :wave2:
