In NJ how big is a parallel parking spot that they test you in/ Also do they check your tires because mine are worn down to the wear bar or a little below lincolns head.

How did this happen you ask. I nevert renewed my lisense and it expired so now I need to proove I can drive even though i have been for 10 years.

I didn't need to pass the parallel parking part to get my license. I'm from Minnesota though.

You could always blow the instructor. It works in porn videos.

It's not a requirement in a lot of states, California stopped testing it decades ago. I had to do it when I first got my license in Ill. If you do the other stuff right and don't really mess up the parallel parking (like hit a car) then being sloppy on it shouldn't cause you to fail. Good luck.
BTW I hope you're taking a car you are familar with. In most states, you are graded on self confidence and knowing where all the controls are. They sometimes ask: Where is your Emergency flasher switch? or windshield wiper switch? If you fumble there, they are more likely to nitpick your driving.

Here is the fucking update from the worst state in the country. I go friday and i live about 25 min away from the one god dam road test center in the county and im there at 8:15. 6 cars ahead of me. It is 9:15 by the time i get to the line. Asshole gets in the car and tells me im running late. I felt like punching this stupid government dick head in the face aand i should of but was trying to be able to drive again because as you know its pretty fucking important in life. I am in a buddy of mines car and he checks the insurence card and registration. They dont match! The correct registration is in his other car. I checked to make sure that both were in the car but did not check to see if they match. So he tells me he will give me a hour to get back. Well because i live a half hour away w/o traffic it would be impossible to get back. So i call when i get home to re schedual it. They tell me i need to wait. 24 hours! I am so pissed off at this point. I try to schedual online right befor writing this today and no appointments are open until the first week of sept! Im calling mon and if this is the case i will go down there and absolutely go off on these idiots.

I hope you fitted newer tires. I know it is frustrating, especially when you guys have hot weather. (The States seems to have received our weather). Here in Oregon there is no parallel parking test either. I passed my test 1st time after eight lessons. I needed to learn how to drive on the wrong side of the road!

Just grin and bear it. Be calm. You are more tested on confidence and calmness so they can see you will not be one of those road rage drivers.
