Has the FreeOnes Board become obsolete?

As some of you may or may not know or care to know, I track posting of OCSMs and board activity on a monthly basis here. I watch trends and OCSMs that post a lot and have done so over the course of the last 5+ years. I at first did it to track to see who and how involved people were with the Miss FreeOnes competition. Namely those who were fly-by-night OCSMs. Plus, I always found it to be a bit of false advertising on FreeOnes part to be claiming you could talk freely with ladies in the business when in actuality there were only a very small percentage of the OCSMs and content owners who freely interacted here.
Anyway, after calculating this month's activity just a few moments ago, I want to make you all aware of a sad trend. OCSM participation has decidedly dropped to a 5 year all time low. There are only about 15 or less that post regularly on a monthly basis who have been a member for a year or more. There around 10 "NEW" OCSMs that actually post out of the 25 newly activated profiles, which is also an all time low. Last but not least, several former active posters to the boards have gone completely absent within the last 5 months.
My questions to you are this:
1) Have the models moved on from the FreeOnes board because there is no Miss FreeOnes money to compete for?
2) Has camming and readily available software like Twitter, Snapchat, etc. made it easier to interact on a more lucrative basis (i.e. time is money) with fans than to interact free on here?
3) Has the lack of camaraderie on the board as well as rampant trolling made the board a inhospitable place for stars and models to come interact?
4) Was there a moment that caused this mass migration away from the FreeOnes Board?
I've been around here for almost 11 years now, and it's not been this quiet since the dawning of the early days of the Internet. I feel like a damned dinosaur. Anyone else have any thoughts?

It's not #1, the drop off started before that. And it's not limited to OCSMs. A lot of the regular members who used to actually have discussions with the models have left too. It's been a slow process, but it's been happening for awhile now.
Part of the problem is #3. And I actually think the board is getting better in this regard, but it might be too little, too late. After a time a place can get a reputation, even if changes often that reputation will stick. Part of it is also that there's nothing to talk about. The threads are generally all dick and fart humor that's not likely to appeal to a grown woman, and can be found literally anywhere on the internet anyway, or picture-spam threads and, yeah, they can do that anywhere on the internet. There aren't any topics around for OCSMs and fans to actually have any kind of interesting conversation, which makes the board... uninteresting. Why come here if you're just going to be bored?
For a time there this board offered a venue for a bunch of porn stars and adult models to get together and chat with their fans, and it offered some stuff actually worth talking about. The board got nasty, the people who wanted to talk left, and... now it's not what it was.

Me too. I'm here to talk about Movies, TV, and Music, enjoy being a fly on the wall for the drunken political scrums, learn something new every day getting smartened up by Will E Worm, and see what everyone had for Breakfast, Lunchie, and Suppertime.
I could make a case that the board was starting to turn in a downward direction back in 2010 or even before that already in some aspects let alone when you started looking at OCSM data.
I think it's a combination of #2 and #3, but also an aspect people have to consider is that it could also be a part of the whole industry itself not being what it once was. While porn isn't exactly a niche product and will be popular for as long as humanity is around, it's golden era or even the gigantic boost the internet gave it are long gone. There is too few talent, things are too cheap, things can be had at so many places and for free, and a bunch of other stuff. In some ways in addition to that I think a lot more people just don't give the same effort they might have once did. Someday, things might go back to more how it used to be and it will pick up especially if it ever gets more excepted by mainstream things and becomes more lucrative for all individuals involved, but I think what we have now is the new normal for the foreseeable future.

The OCSM's were never a reason why I started posting here. I don't even know what OCSM stands for nor have I heard or seen any of their content, with the exception of Aaliyah Love who doesn't even post here any more. I would presume that the whole reason they became members here in the first place was to boost their fan base and because there aren't any new members on this board, or at least any new members that post, it doesn't make sense for them to stay here. That doesn't mean that FO is becoming obsolete. This place still sees a ton of traffic.

Freeones in its total package is such a vast site that it tries to cover all the bases. That is a great thing, but I think it shows from time to time that performance in regard of loading speed and all features integrating together just is a very hard thing to do. And the staffhas to work onthe side dealing with tolling, hacking, OCSMs getting bothered, sometimes really serious, a lot of us don't acknowledge how much work it takes to make it look fun and simple.
I like twitter, but Freeones is still something else that I will probably forever stay around on.

For me, the biggest reason that I rarely come in here anymore is because there's just nothing interesting to talk about these days. And by these days, I mean about the last two years.
When you look at the front page of the FreeOnes Talk section, the majority of the threads are about who has the best tits, whose pussy do you want to lick, who would you fuck, who is the hottest, etc. I can't contribute to those, and IMO, those threads should not even be in this section, they should be moved over to the Niche and Fetish Corner, as they aren't about discussion, they're nothing but wank material. Don't get me wrong, fap content has its place as this is an adult board, but this is the Talk section.
Next to those threads are OCSMs official threads, silly pointless threads about what you're eating, drinking, or listening to right now that serve no purpose other than to increase post count, and the occasional thread made by people like Dino talking about farts and boogers. The fuck? Gross.
Even more so now than ever before, I've been seeing quite a few comments within threads that are incredibly sexist and degrading. Sure sounds welcoming to us ladies, yeah? /s
What's more is that quite a few of the old regular posters that I quite enjoyed interacting with back in the day have either completely gone from the board, or don't post nearly as much as they used to, such as Dirk, Stiffy, etc. Hell, I don't even see Maley on here anymore.
So that's about it. There's just very little good discussion going on.
I used to post a ton. Enough so that I had the honor of being crowned OCSM of the Year once by your (Wolverine) annual thread for being the most interactive. There were times when I could spend hours at a time on here, browsing the threads, reading comments, and posting. I can't do that anymore. Once upon a time, a brand new thread could be posted at noon, and by midnight, it would have a second or third page of comments. These days, it's lucky to get to a second page at all, let alone a third or fourth.
I'm still interactive elsewhere. Like, a lot. I post on two other forums, both adult and regular topics, one of which I post on every single day, and the other one is sporadic. I can go there and talk about sex, relationships, clothes, science, movies, cats, every single little thing under the sun. A new thread is created pretty much every second of every day. It has a lot of people and a lot of discussions. I do it for fun, because I like to, not just because there are sections where I sell my dirty videos and whatnot.
So no, we don't all just post online to get money. Some of us genuinely enjoy talking to people.
All of that being said, I do think that with Twitter, Snapchat, Kik, Skype, Instagram, etc., there is a lot less free time to spare. People who are willing to pay for porn seem to mostly only want to do so if it's either a big name site, such as Brazzers or Naughty America, or if it's one-on-one interactive, such as cam shows. That means that a lot of adult workers are having to spend hours on end, each and every day, hustling their butts off to sit in front of the computer and chat with buyers for money, leaving very little time or energy left to just chit chat for free online, even if they used to do so. Spending time on actual photo shoots and videos is becoming less and less popular, unless you're on a big pay site for paid shoots by the company, since so few porn viewers are willing to settle for anything less than actual, real time, one-on-once, face to face sexting and camming. That eats up a lot more time than shooting.
Of course sure, some of the OCSMs have stopped coming around as much since there is no Miss FreeOnes at the moment or in the foreseeable future. That's a given. It's always been that way. As soon as the contest started, a mass influx of hot women came around to post comments and tons of free pics. Fine. There's no harm in that. You get free wank material for a certain amount of time. Yeah, it always sucked when someone who didn't even post on the board ended up winning a category, but whatever. That is just to be accepted, and move on to appreciate those of us who do stick around for longer periods of time for no monetary gain whatsoever.

There are a few others as well who post some of the same type of nonsense. If I recall correctly, it was either Dino or someone else, a week or so ago who made a thread, and one of the comments (perhaps even the OP), saying that women are only around for men's pleasure.
