Has McCain thrown in the towel on the race?

The real issue is neither McCain or Obama can really solve all the problems in America.

Universal Health Care--It is the greed of the insurance companies, the doctors, the AMA, American Medical Association, the American Hospitals, the lobbyists that can will derail Obama's plan for an universal Health Care. Even with the Democrats predicting even a landslide victory in the Congress, the Senate still has a long way to pass UHC. And how to finance Universal Health Care. Since health care costs 12% of the GNP of United States, it probably mean an increase of tax rate of 10-12% !!!! McCain opposes Universal Health Care.

Finance--It is the greed of the Wall Street CEO. How can Washington Mutual CEO with 3 weeks on the job can walk away with 18 million dollars. You can NOT regulate the fringe benefits of the Wall Street CEO. Most Unions endorse Obama and would they not expect Obama to further support Union demand for higher wages, benefits and pension ! Can Obama really change America ? You think about it !

Iraq War--It is just not possible to withdraw in 18 months. It is not that simple to leave Iraq and allow three fractions to fight them off or divide Iraq into three separate countries. Iran will take advantage of the situation and control Iraq and the world will be doomed. Once again, Obama is a little bit inexperienced in foreign policies in Iraq/ Iran !

Trade--How can you turn the tide of manfacturing jobs fleecing America? America has to develop high-tech jobs, good paying jobs and also maintaining low-paying manufacturing jobs here in home. But none of the real issues are discussed in the debate and none can really solve this problem, JOBS ! JOBS ! JOBS !

America is at a crossroad. 750 billion bailout is nothing.

US Treasury will start another round of 800 billion US Treasury Bill sell-out to the highest bidders which include China, Saudia Arabia, and other Gulf states.

I do not know who will win and who is a better candidate and who can solve the problems.

Does it take a force like the "Civil War" to shake up America, or "Class War" to shake up America. I have solid proof that none of these two people, Obama or McCain can actually solve America's problems. Just take the example of gas hike, what did Congress do, why are we paying $5.00 a gallon when a hurricane is approaching Galvanston, Texas? Why is Congress and Obama, McCain do something about a very basic problem of gas hike.

People look down upon Sarah Palin, tear her apart, step on her, belittle her.

But no politican in America is willing to take on the oil companies except Sarah Palin and taxed the big oil companies, Exxon-Mobil, Conono-Phillips and returned $1,200.00 in the first 18 months in office to each and every one in Alaska, more than 600,000 citizens and in addition another $1,800.00 to each Alaskan. Sure Sarah Palin did many, many stupid things, did not know much about foreign policies and don't know McCain's team at all.

But she will learn and not be too abusive and abrasive but kinder and gentler. Sarah Palin can accomplish things with lipsticks but not being a pitbull !

Georges - nobody likes welfare cheats. Not republicans, not democrats, nobody. How to deal with them; how to limit them while still providing aid to those who are legitimately in need, is a decades old conundrum many societies continue to grapple with.

Beyond that, how does it feel to be a tool for the republican propaganda machine? Because it seems to me you are far far too intelligent to continue uncritically espousing many of its lies and distortions. A suggestion, if you don't mind: stop getting your news and information from right wing blogs and youtube videos. Youtube has it's good points, but it's also become the net's most popular fast food joint for propaganda dispensation. The internet can be used to find tons of sources that support what one wants to believe, but obviously that doesn't necessarily make that belief any less distorted, or false. I can find sources to support the claim John McCain's kid is a love child he had while having an extramarital affair with a black woman. Does that mean it's true?

Snopes.com does a very good job of analyzing, and debunking, most of fear-mongering distortions and lies the right wing has been circulating about Obama. Personally I don't think one can be an informed voter until they've taken the time to examine the smears that have been leveled against both candidates. The several entries on the following page are must reads for anyone wishing to discuss Obama in an informed, non-agenda or emotion driven manner:

PS: Once again; Obama is not a muslim, nor is he anti-second amendment.

Good collection of stuff from cspan, Dems with their hands in the cookie jar,

1.In 2004 the Pubs had the majority in both houses so it was up to them and they loosen the reg for the ownership society of the Bushies.

2. The problem was mostly caused by the commoditization of mortgages into CDO because the investor did not know what was in them and do not want to understand what there were. Actually nobody to this day understands them. Think Enron and the commoditization of energy.

3. The minority default rate was 4.9% according to a report by a right wing think tank. A city block in upscale Las Vegas or Florida cost more in default dollars than a the entire lower class area of major cities. Thank you speculators and property investors.

This shit sounds to me like kids blaming each other. That clip still was interesting
