Taking one's clothes off and getting sexed on camera is the same as everything else. But sex is natural, so the way you go about sexing somebody defines you as a person the same way that driving to the local grocery in a lexus describes them. It's a normal everyday thing... but how you go about it defines you as a person. People can say that they dont care what everybody thinks.. but.. that's only a sentence. That's like saying I dont care about other people on the road. Of course we all do. We have to. You care about people because you're appreciating their money, their attention, and hundreds.. very possibly thousands of men and women want to see you naked and do plenty more with your body.
There are aggressive fucks like watching Janine Lindemulder during the act.. odd, disturbing yet arousing acts like Belladonna, and tons of others to describe in endless ways. But there is a very well-defined difference between natural sex appeal.. and fake sex appeal.
My example is this.. Jenna Jameson is mainstream. She fucks normally. She's not too aggressive, she's not much of anything besides a hot girl that has sex on camera and gay/dyke-for-pay. She You wont find her fisting everyone, drinking piss or vomiting on cocks. She has/had natural sex appeal and didnt need to gain extra attention or audience by faking sex appeal by doing 800 man gangbangs.. specializing in sloppy facials or anything. She didnt 'sell out' in that way. Selling out doesnt need a specific definition or a debate.. it's simply doing something you dont want.. or something you're not good at.. or something your audience doesnt want...
for money. Like the term goes:
"Selling Out"
Now Lacey is a beautiful, lovely girl. Excellent skin.. she had cute tits and she was cute to watch on camera every time. Did her popularity skyrocket after this incident? No. Did she become a gag queen and have lots of rough sex after said incident? Not really. Back to the usual grind of sex and more sex.
As of August 2005.. her popularity didnt have some super-impact.
So there's an audience for it. But that's bad on two fronts. Firstly.. that respect and dignity you mention.. plenty of people in your audience.. your members.. they CARE for you. They join for your body, they stay for your personality.. the way you moan.. what you write in a blog, all that personal shit that
'you dont care about'.
Secondly.. it's bad because the audience for extremes will only grow if you feed it. I'm not the sheriff, I'm not an angel.. I'm none of that shit, but I know you dont feed the desires of a mentally unbalanced person and honestly.. the audience that likes to feed that inner demon that wants women to be abused, beaten, raped.. well shit. Do you want to nurture that group?
I like drugs, I like alcohol.. I like it when my friends drink, snort a line and then we have fucking crazy fun all night. But I dont nurture this habit in kids, teens or anyone with an addictive personality that'll develop this habit into a permanent thing. A hobby like drugs, drinking and fucking mindlessly should NOT be anything more than a once-in-a-rare-while thing.
How much dignity do people have? Not much.
How much choice do people have in life? Not much.
And that's why it matters when the things you choose.. arent liked by your friends, family and an 'audience' if you have one. Family? They're wanting the best for you sometimes but hey.. they dont know you like you know you after a few decades in the best circumstances. My family? Fuggin' nuts. So I have to look out for myself and oftentimes I look out for everyone else. It's completely FUCKED when I myself.. have to be the VOICE OF REASON for so many people in my circle of friends and family. But I often have to. People need other people to tell them what to do and oftentimes the wrong people take advantage of them. There is freedom of speech. There is freedom to pay someone to be raped. One of those two shouldnt be defended no matter the amount of cash. You give an inch.. people will take a mile. Metaphors and clever quotes arent law.. but in this instance, the gist of what I just said speaks volumes about what should be law. At least human law.. where it's agreed by everyone that some things arent to be done under even the best of circumstances. If not for Lacey's wants.. then for her audience. For herself.. just because she *wanted* to.. she didnt *need* to.
Ahem, anyway.
People do define themselves by what they do when noone is around, absolutely. But people have to answer to other people. Parents, friends, police, owners and managers..
But we cant judge ourselves. We cant look in the mirror and know how beautiful, sexy, intelligent or whatever that we are. We HAVE TO leave that to other people. The same as leaving education to other people. They judge us harshly because life is harsh.
If you dont care about other people, then you dont care about yourself and all the rebelling, angst and doing what you want can only go so far.
You'll be seen the way you carry yourself. You'll be judged by the things you believe. So if you believe your audience doesnt think you have dignity, class or integrity in your porn choices.. well.. then you'll break thru to some lower level. You're not a whore, you're a porn star. A *STAR*.
I respect you despite any conflicting beliefs we have, I believe you should have integrity in everything you do, personal life or public. I dont know which way you meant it when you said
'I have to say, if I cared what people thought of me, I wouldn't be doing porn in the first place. but ignoring people is one thing.. yeah they're annoying bastards, dickheads a lot of 'em. Ignoring sucks because they'll just continue on uneducated and ignorant about many things. If you can change an opinion or at least enlighten people to one more facet of life.. or yourself.. or anything at all, you just changed someone's life the same way that watching some life-changing movie or listening to a song that really resonates does.
An ending quote for good measure.. I'm not too religious but religion stole some friggin' nice quotes:
"A little girl was walking along the beach and she noticed that starfish were washing up by the hundreds.. she ran along the beach desperately throwing back one after another, for as long as she could. G_d walks up and asks her, why are you doing that, you wont make a difference among the thousands and thousands that will die here."
"She replies, that might be true.. but to each one that I saved I made a big difference!"

Hope that whole post didnt come off as preachy or anything bad. I only want the best for everyone here.. and everyone we find attractive.
