New Hero - New Campaign eh? Anyone else downloaded the next installment of the teaser vid?
Our new hero looks to be an ODST, not sure where set though, cant even be sure if its earth. Im intrigued, but at the same time reluctant. Good looking weapons, what looked to me to be a silenced assault rifle, a new addition to the halo arsenal.
Thoughts?

yeah i think the games is going to suck as bad as halo 3 so just in case i recomend that you try before you buy and rent it out like what i am going to do and if it is good or better then i will be back to eat my words. but as it stand get Hells highway made by gearbox a company that dose not know the meaning of shit games. hey just my views

I'm all for critique of a game, but you come in here and all you have done is criticise the game in question, how is that helpful? I want to talk about this new expansion, not have the game it is expanding on slandered, just because you don't like it. If you wanna tell me why you didnt like it, with something more descriptive and objective than "it sucks" then Ill hear what you have to say.
I liked halo 3, I enjoyed the story, the gameplay was perhaps repetetive, but what were you expecting from a first person shooter, I'm curious there. On the flipside of the coin I dislike brothers in arms, I have had enough of WW2 shooters, I have zero interest in COD 5 for that same reason.
My opinion, Halo 1 was awesome and they just need to remake that. Bungie is just after money and you could easily tell that when Halo 2 sucked, I didn't buy a 360 because I tried my buddies Halo 3 and that was even worse. Halo 1 even sucked on the PC because even the best computers lagged around on that sloppy port. Just take Halo: Combat Evolved and make some campaigns for it! That would be a good game and till make money!
As for this expansion, I'm not interested. This trailer is advertisement, makes the game look better than it is. Halo 2 and 3 click for anyone with the M$ advertising campaigns?

Staying on topic we need a poll on who thinks which Halo is best. My vote is the first game, they just need to remake Halo:CE precisely and maybe add a new campaign then that's a top-list game.

Read the books, there is a bunch of story in-between Halo 1 and 2, and even a book where the covenant were first ran into by Sgt. Avery Johnson and some militia men under his command long before the games took place. There's even the possibility of the Spartan-3 series Spartans, who were made by being adopted at youth with cheaper but safer enhancement procedures and made in batches of 500+ instead of 100 or so like Chief and the Spartan-2's. Problem is like 99% of all Spartan-3's died on their first mission, so the 2 survivors were used to train a second batch of Spartan-3's.
There is good story in the books of the Halo Universe, and in fact I enjoyed the books 10x more than the games. If M$ and Bungie played their cards right they could work in that story that has been created already and make some good selling, unoriginal but fun games based off the first game. That is extremely unlikely to happen though.
