What I've seen online I'm not impressed.
Wolfie did really well during the 2007-2008 concert, but he has a long way to ever filling Mike's shoes or vocals..
I thought since the game is called Van Halen, that it should have included all aspects that make them Van Halen.
I liked the fact that they have everyone dressed in their pre-1984 outfits *exception to Wolfie wearing Eddie's 1984 attire from Panama* to them looking alot like they did on tour.
I hate the fact that Mike isn't the primary bass player in the game since it is him in every Van Halen tune in the game. I also think that he should have had Now look, and his older look as an unlockable, or visa versa depending how the game goes.. Wolfie should have been an an unlockable for him and his evh look.. Sammy Hagar should have been an unlockable with his era songs as unlockables. At least if they didn't do that, they should have at least considered it as a possible bonus disc.. Also a couple of their live tunes from Sammy's solo career that was preformed by Van Halen in 86 such as There's Only One Way To Rock and I Can't Drive 55 ,and from 86 their verisons of Addicted To Love, Rock N Roll and their version of Won't Get Fooled Again from RHRN. (side note if I was picking songs, I would choose, I Want Some Action by Van Halen that never was officially released that is off of Dawn Of 5150, should be on there cause it slays anything on 5150)
As for Gary Cherone, I would have made him an unlockable with his look from Extreme's second album era as an unlockable. With at least 5 songs off of Van Halen III, The tracks I would have chosen is, Dirty Water Dog, Once, One I Want, Fire In The Hole, and From Afar.. I would also have added their unreleased song That's Why I Love You demo for VHIII
Since I am speaking hypothetically, They could have also included some of the songs off of the demo Gene Simmons helped them make such as Put Out The Lights, Let's Get Rockin', Woman In Love (not the same as Women In Love.) and the orginal version of House Of Pain.
Also a couple that got was recorded live like Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers remake, and some of their orginals like Down In Flames, Dark Star, and the pre 1978 version of Eruption.
Ok onto if they really do make a Guitar Hero Van Halen expansion pack, I would like to see a bunch of songs throughout Dave's era. In no order the ones that I would include..
