I dont have the game and dont plan on it, but remarks like that, actually **** even me off. Im all for discussing games and stuff, but giving away plot points and "hints" are unfair for the people who havent gotten that far, or havent been able to get a copy of the game yet.

This game is pretty kickass, graphics are amazing expecially with the ps3 and hd cables. the driving was diffucult in the begining but after a while it comes easy im only at like 7% completed and it was slow and boring to start but i can tell that its only getting better. and online play for ps3 was a pain in the ass to get connected but when i finally did, it was actually really fun with all the game modes they have. message me if you want to play online sometime

i did not give away any plots or hints.... all im reccomending is dont waste any time...i mean when she calls you and you stop what your doin... if you want too have too stop what your doing.... get a taxi or drive through traffic too her place becasue she asked you too ..... drive her too a food place.... an then take her home too hear sounds of you fuckin her for 5 seconds... then she calls you the next day you gotta stop what your doing an go through it all again...the day after same thing happends...then she calls you the next day...and again the next day....and the next day after that... an you start too think...If i dont see her will she betray me in a later mission...mabie then you feel ****** too say yes too her everytime and stop what your doin time after time after time too drive her too a food place an then take her home too hear sounds of you fuckin her for 5 seconds again...
imagnie being in NY NY and she is calling from brooklyn you would have too speed across in less than 2 minutes accross the bridges, highways , water, sky...or in the middle of a mission or at a night club or in the middle of losing a big wanted level.... this really annoyed me... and im just letting you guys know that if she calls you...You dont have too say yes... unless your stupid

Bought it today. So far I like the characters and the stories. But I **** the lighting (too dark, even with the brightness turned up full) and the cars drive like ****. And like someone said earlier, it's not as fun to use the hand brake anymore. Well, it's fun, but you can't pivot around corners like in the previous GTA's.
I assume that these problems will fade as the game goes on. But so far I am skeptical. But it's GTA, so I will be patient.

***** driving is actually quite hard, the cops...OMFG...THE COPS!!! I'm extremely impressed with the cops! They are actually tough to escape this time! Damn near impossible on 3 stars and I've not yet gotten away on 4 stars...
For me it is extremely hard to find my way around the city. And I **** when it's night time. I can hardly see anything.
Adjust the ingame brightness.
The new **** driving makes things even more difficult, yet at the same time adds a sense of realism not seen in other GTA titles!
And yes...it is GTA!
i tried the ******** or driving ***** it was freaking hard. i would love to know how to hail a taxi. i use the classic controls not the standard/default. so i don't know if the buttons are the same.
i also noticed that every taxi has passengers so what good is not finding a passenger free taxi?

Has a point there, the other GTA titles.....you would just press your thumb as hard as you can on the "gas" button and that was it. gotta make a turn? blast the handbrake,cut the corner return finger to the gas button and GO>>>>>>>>>>
this one i'm finding myself driving like i freakin normally do. drive civilized in traffic or around other cars, open road ....pedal to the metal!
Exactly. One of my favourite things about other GTA's was the driving...it was fun. Now I have to be careful. Grand Theft Auto? Careful?
On the plus side, the crashes are much more enjoyable in IV.
Just got it yesterday and i will share my thoughts.First of all,i only have a shitty 68cm tv and found when i turned the brightness,contrast and saturation all to full,then there was no issue with dullness and i also tweaked my tv options to suit.
As with the driving difficulties i agree with the majority that after a few hours it gets easier,although in australia and britain we drive on the left
The best way to appreciate the graphics is to use the closest view and walk around without panning too fast.When i first got this my 10 year old *** was driving flat out and sprinting when on foot and i thought the graphics were good without being brilliant,but slow the driving down too(treat it like real life)and the detail is insane!!
I have the ps3 version,and to get in a taxi after hailing it down you hold down triangle for 2 seconds rather than just hitting it quick.Whalers,its L1 to hail a cab.
I play comp darts in real life and was a little disappointed with the interpretation but its still something different to do.
And lastly getting pissed had me laughing so much it fucking hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did it into a bridge adbutement ,through the winshield and got up and walked away!
This game is absolutly the dogs bollocks, LOVE IT! Im 21 and I just feel the same as I did when I was 15 and GTA III came out.

I come on here and it seems that the older generation on here are having no problems!
Its and adult game so it will teach the little gits to go back to the 3+ rated games and let the people who do enjoy the game let them do so !

The driving does get easier as you progress. Takes some getting used to thats for sure! You just gotta brake early for turns and take it easy sometimes. Once you figure it out, it's a blast! Also the damage on the vehicles is damn near perfection, it shows exactly what you would expect it to depending on what part of the car hits something!
Yeah, the first time it happened I had no idea what had happened. That's a nice touch. And like I said, the crashes in general are far better then they used to be.
realism. That's exactley what RockstarGames is going for now. realistic crashes, body physics, *** shots, everything. The hookers menu is a nice touch as well.
