Either that or they did a GTA: London 1969. They could do the same but for modern day, with lots of missions where we get to take out corrupt politicians. Or recreate Guy Fawkes and try (but succeed this time) to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

I was thinking about them setting GTA in London, and I thought about one thing; I wondered how they would incorporate the Royal Family into the game. Assuming there is the palace in the game, what would they plan to do? As soon as you step on the property, you get four stars? Would there be a mission to kill the royal family? This is one of the reasons why I don't expect them to put it in London. Rockstar is controversial, but I don't know if they would take it that far. That would be like having a mission to fly a plane into a skyscraper.

Ok, but in none of the incarnations of Liberty City (New York) has there been a mission to fly a plane into a skyscraper, so I'm sure they could do London without killing the Royal Family!!! It's not like there's an unwritten rule of Rockstar that says if you set a game in London then you must have a mission that involves the Royal Family. They could, however, get you to break into the castle and take pictures of the Queen while she's asleep, or break into the tower of London and steal the Crown Jewels!

ok so rockstar did develop a game that's a little bit similar to GTA but doesn't have the GTA name its called L.A. Noire it takes place in 1930's or 1940's so id leave out that 1930's-1940's GTA story line out but if they take out a GTA 5 it better be good

Honestly looking at the pattern I would say either Vice City or San Andreas update. Either would work for me.... However something new would be cool.
How about a take on a Chicago style city?

I'd kill for Vice City and or San Andreas remakes with IV graphics and Saint's Row controls. Those games are by far my favorites in the series.

There are plenty of other citys in the US that have been overlooked. I argee about VC, LC and SA being over done. I'm sick of them too. Why not Seattle, Denver, Boston, DETROIT? Plenty of violence! Keep it American!

I wouldnt be surprised if they did detroit or a midwestern city like chicago or cleveland, they got the tie in with carcer city from manhunt.

I would love to see GTA in El Paso, TX/ Juarez, Mexico they could tie in the gruesome drug war going on in the mexican side of the border.

Either way GTA 5 will be much better than 4 NYC is so bland it seems like every sandbox game is set there.

Own cars and get insurance incase you "lose" them
Buy a gun licence

Amusement parks that you can use and buy
Businesses you can buy

Food machines again
Casinos
Internet
Better fighting
More control over movement
Faster movement
Better graphics
Better music
10 times better AI
Boat license
Driving licence
Flying licence
Riding licence
About 5-10 times the size of gta 4
Buildings can take damage but recover eventually
Instead of 2 minutes an hour make it something like 15 minutes an hour. Or make it so you can change the clock to human time like previous games.
